Thanks for uploaded this video. This is pretty old, I remember I watch your videos on my CD back in 2007, this is so nostalgic.

My memories goes back to my start of carrier in sugar mill in 70s.
If you are Indonesian or Indian, those would have been the glory days. I never worked in a sugar mill, but my own memories go back to the late 1970s and every year it all lasted was a bonus... In my case for another 30 years!
Namaste jayahind.
Nice..
First choice and my first traning
How long ago was that filmed.. nobody has mask on
Look like an old video
there is sign say "dirgahayu 60", maybe that video filmed in 2005
how many rolls to a mill tandem? 3 or 4 rolls. i've machined nearly all the moving parts shown in this video. ive grooved over 120 rolls in my lifetime. 43 yrs. sugar mills around the world. Fulton Iron, oldest continuous sugar mill manufacturer in America, since 1856
Almost all have 3 rolls, exceptionally one at Pajarakan has 2 rolls and the initial crushers (now largely replaced) also had 2 rolls.
It's a massive subject, there is an illustrated summary of the sugar mills in Java on my website:
www.internationalsteam.co.uk/gulajava/index.htm.
The video version is available on this channel:

I've seen kit from Fulton working in Cuba 20 years ago but the only (surviving) engine from them in Java was at Gondang but it was taken out of use some years before the mill itself closed.
@@internationalsteam fulton started using a 4th roll technology in its mill housing tandems i'd say 1987 or 88. all units post that uses the 4th. we even sent field men out to convert 3 rolls to 4 roll about 1995. it really increased extraction rates
