- 16 months old, feeding BH (home made as well) , Brine Shrimps and Tetra Discus granules. Water change every 3 days about 70% run just through 2 cartridge of carbon. All of them doing fine, eating well, growing. Never had any problems. Next month starting another tank with just red strains.
Realy nice Discus. God quality
Care with the carbon, some studies are showing that can be related with the HOTH disease. Gorgeous discus, btw.
Cheers
They look great!
Discus101 thx
bardzo ladne i zdrowe.
Dzięki
Nice
Sliczne ,szkoda ze nic wiecej nie ma w baniaku, strasznie to nienaturalne
Those are very nice Discus 👍🏻
Discus Keeper Thanks man. At the moment I'm waiting for new arrival. Next video about new, small guys soon. Fresh made beef heart waiting for the "beasts" 😉
Marcin Cz. I use the stendker good heart it’s not bad either 😬
Discus Keeper I run out of Stendker’s BH yesterday and must admit it was good (I didn’t try myself though 😜) but I’m trying different kind of BH. Devotedly Discus is good quality as well.
Marcin Cz. I had the devotedly discus stuff but the oils separated far too easy for my liking
Discus Keeper Much different when we are talking about consistence.
This is gorgeous species tank; you've done very well. I love the eheim pre filters. Do they really keep you from having to change the canisters too often?
Tkanks. I was aiming in different type of pre-filtration - use 10" RO water filter canister, put inside aquaristic wool and install it on the inlet hose before filter. It will last longer without cleaning. Just choose transparent canisters to see how dirty wool is. Unscrew it, replace dirty wool with clean one and that's it.
Probably it's not your language but pictures show the stuff.

My sponges- I guess they do the job but because of high density I have to clean them every second day - they stop flow that much so it means they work. I clean filters after year. Hope this answers your question.
so what happens to the fish poop lying at the bottom? will it stay there until you vaccum it every 3 days or will it get mixed with water? because in my tank i noticed the nitrates level are higher if it stays in the tank for a long time...the fish some times bite them and spit it out so it gets dissolved in the water raising nitrates...this also applies if a filter sucks it up and it rapidly dissolves in the filter pad...has anyone thought about this?
Stunning..what size did u purchase your discus at..2.5”..3”...4” thank you
Thanks, 2,5"
Marcin Cz. Wow...you have done an incredible job..the body shape of them is just amazing....
change quality manually for HD
proszę zmienić ręcznie rozdzielczość na HD
What type of discus is that bad boy @ 1:36 mark? Planning on buying from hans also.
Nice. What size tank?
this guy really doesn't want to tell anybody what kind of Discus he is filming.... Maybe not his fish?
Looks like a Snakeskin Blue to me.
Earl - Snakeskin Blue, Dutch - mine 😉. 350l, there will be update soon.
Thank you!! Nice fish you got! I'm looking into Stendker Discus myself, just don't know witch ones yet. What is the one at 0:54 that one is stunning!
What strain of Stendker is that discus at 44 seconds
Snakeskin Blue but IMO any Snakes are superb 👍 got few different in my new fish tank.
@@hev2301 very nice. Ya I have two of those but are only around 5” right now. It seems they don’t tend to show that popping color until later maturity
Tank size?
