HA! HA! I pick-up my same model up later on today and to really bless my business, I get to do my Church building and take before and after pics...and praise God for I plan on not looking back! Thank-you!
That's not " an electric start kinda thing ", it's an engine cut-off or kill switch. If you pull a cord to start the engine, you do not have electric start.
I just picked up this exact pressure washer yesterday. Did everything per the instructions. Hooked it up turned the water on, turned the machine on, throttle up and no pressure coming out of the hose. About to take it back to get another one.
Hey I have this machine and I was wondering if you ever used the pressure knob that’s right next to the downstream injector. I wanted too use mine but it will not twist, and idea on what I can do too fix this
You can reduce pressure that way but you also reduce GPM. The professional way to reduce pressure is with different sized tips. Consult a pressure washer tip chart and you can reduce as low as you want while maintaining GPM flow.
Question, I do remember that with my last pressure washer it was recommended to keep the wand open "keep water running" at all time while the machine was running, Do you know if this new model have a protection mode ? so I don't have to keep the wand running at all time while the machine is on or the 2nd option to turned off every time you need to let off the wand.
No PW should run untriggered more than a minute max. To avoid this issue get a ball valve and you can quick disconnect it and leave the ball open. While water will flow it will be manageable at low pressure.
So I got same machine last year,I washed a house, two garage doors and a driveway, so less than 20 hrs So when I was washing another house, I noticed water in pump oil I thought it was bad seals so was planning to order a rebuild kit But when I drain the oil found metal flakes on it So I'm wondering if this is a common problem on Simpson aaa pumps before I order a new one? Anyone else had this problem??
Question, I adjusted the “unloaded valve”, which is that black knob. I twisted it to lower the pressure. Atleast that’s what I thought I was doing. I just saw on Facebook that someone said you aren’t supposed to ever adjust that because you will mess up your washer. They said you are supposed to lower the throttle instead. Can you confirm or deny? I could of sworn the owners manual even said twisting the black knob was how you adjust the pressure.
@@spear-it Hello , just seeing your message. As of now it's just personal but my 17yr old kid wants to pressure wash families Driveways to get experience. Then you know how that goes. People just stop by to ask for a card or quote. So little by little.
Hey man! Thinking of getting this and saving $400 on the CAT pump model. How’s the unit doing after some time. I’ve heard from pressure washing business people to stay away from AAA pumps.
Does anyone have a link to find that yellow cap at the end I bought my pressure washer off the marketplace and the guy didnt sell it to me with that cap
I have the same pressure washer bought it in like new condition used maybe twice but it doesent have that oil breather that you have to replace with the red cap. Do you know where I can get that?
To be honest I’m not 100% sure. Maybe the manufacturer can send you one. Or try putting a piece of tape over the opening and poke a hole in it.(I have no idea if that works)
I really like it! But I can see why the reviews are mixed. I have two, one works great. I use it on big commercial jobs and small residential jobs. I bought a second one to have as a back up and after one job the spray bar stopped spinning when the pressure is turned on.
Mine is leaking water from the garden hose to the water pump connection. The leak isn’t coming from the hose it’s from that little wiggly part. I’m not sure if I can take that off some I can apple tape. Please help if you had this problem.
A little late but yes you can. there is an attachment for the front of the wand that you can order. you put the attachment into a bag of sand "pool sand works the absolute best" and there you go. runs through sand fast though
A great and informative video. Thank you for sharing your wonderful machine. Perhaps I'll get a DeWalt. I currently have a Westinghouse 3200 PSI 2.8 gal. With a Westinghouse surface cleaner which is very beneficial that does the job, but I'm sure yours does a much more effective, and efficient job.
The plug they ship it with is solid and the one that you have to replace it with has a hole in it. It’s called a breather plug. It allows the pump to get air.

Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. Never run the engine speed at anything less than full power. Use the off loader valve ( the big black knob at the top of the pump)to control the amount of pressure you need at the nozzle….

Can you set up a pressure bypass on this
What was the model of the Surface Washer Cleaner you used....and soap on both wand and surface washer cleaner

How many hours a week I can do with this machine. Or how many hours a day.
Im not sure what the factory recommends but I've ran for a full day multiple time in a row when I did an apartment complex and it worked great
Great presentation...
what size surface cleaner were you using? i have a 15" with rollers so this machine should run it just fine i would think
On the box it should say what the surface cleaner is rated for. Mine is rated for 4200psi max
16 inch is text book. Up to 18 but you'll have to move slower. Rule of thumb is 4 inches for every gallon per minute.
Is the GPM too high to run from a home water source?
No not until 8gpm
Did that new plug come with the washer ?
Yes sir! It comes a long with the instructions. There are a million warnings in the box. So don’t worry about missing it :)
