the fact her passive checks her crit chance at the start of the battle was a way of making the blue buff being a stat increase at rank 1 viable without making the increase too much, its a shame but on the other hand does another 7C char have a cleanse at all?, also her relic wouldent apply a debuff because it would interfere with green awakened mono's passive, so god knows what relic she could get to make her good, outside of a flat stat increase like +Crit chance, similiar to cusaks crit dmg relic
by 50 isnt enough. i thought of the perfect relic for her: decreases defense related stats of all enemies by half of her crit chance stat(ignores ultimate escanor's passive). so at base it's 60% cause half of 120 is 60. but with some crit chance substats it could go up to 165 at base, and then with rank 2 buff it's 195, with rank 3 buff it's 215. so she could reduce defense related stats by anywhere from 60% - 107.5% depending on how you gear her. and with it ignoring escanor's passive it basically means that we'd finally have a non-festival meta unit that isn't one of the 2 new festivals.
Maybe make it a bit more balanced and say "if all allies are of the Seven Catastrophes", then you can't abuse it alongside gowther and it wouldn't make her team ridiculously op
I fucking uninstalled this game after what happened to me in ungeared pvp, some guy with nothing but a lv 75 purg meli and escanor still whiped my team like nothing, I felt so ashamed that I couldn't go on anymore and uninstalled the game, ungeared pvp is an actual fucking hellscape ever since purg meli and escanor got released, without them you won't ever be able to even beat a lv 75 meli or escanor I'm not touching this game ever again.
Shout out to the grand cross 3d modeler making every character and cosmetic a absolute banger and spending their time for the character to suck or even just be mediocre and not be used
I feel like Green Awakened Mono is still superior tbh Because her passive debuffs the crit defense of every enemy at the start of every turn if they don't already have a debuff
I think a new character with a rank up card is coming soon since both Mono and Valenti require level 2 cards to work, possibly a new Lilia or awakened Shin. Lilia seems more likely but I say Shin because having a rank up Lilia and green Shin on the same team seems broken, then there's Gowther...
I actually think, Filo could help this unit a little bit. Making the enemies vulnerable to Crits might help the Mono, but yeah, this Mono is not even close to the existing Awakened Mono. I mean, the other Mono makes critting easier via passive Debuffs AND increases Attack up to 70 % for each applied debuff. Even though this Mono has the same card as Red Brunhilde or Filo, her damage is trash. I like the kit, the visuals and Awakened Mono per se, but for a Seasonal, she is way too weak. Maybe, we finally get a supporter as Catastrophe, that can make them viable, but let's be honest, except for Lilia, they were very shy of making playable Catastrophes. They make them deliberately weak, compared to other releases and thus make them unable to come even close to a Festival. They have all shitty stats, which would be okay, if they weren't made solely for this game and if no one would care for them, but the Catastrophes are popular. I hope, they give them more love from now on. Still, I'm quite sad, I got literally no Gems anymore. Since Freya is likely around the corner and this Mono is also pretty cool, it's a shame, but I have to skip. But I do hope, she gets a Holy Relic soon. Since she is made to be a glass cannon and can't tank anything anyway, something that increases her Attack related stats per Debuff on the field would probably even out the low damage of her underwhelming stats. I mean, she has literally the strongest aoe damaging skill in the entire game (not counting the exclusive ones of the new Meliodas and Escanor) and she hits for barely more than Lilia. I would really love, to see Awakened Mono as another part of a good synergy between Catastrophes. A Holy Relic with a supportive effect would also be pretty cool. Like Lilia giving additional damage based on her HP, Mono could share her attack or something. Catastrophes need more cool combos. I mean, I would also like to see Mono giving Bleed, when she crits, because she would get an additional hit and since debuffs ignore Defense related stats, she could hit a little bit harder, but just Bleeding would be a little underwhelming. Especially since it could only be for one turn so Green Awakened Mono still can build up her Passive. Man, they need to release the feature of having multiple Holy Relics for every char and then throw out a shit ton of Relics for every single char. It would balance the game again so easily, but yeah, won't happen anytime soon.
I honestly think the way they fix the issue with her blue card is make her relic: "Whenever this character attacks, rank up all this characters other cards" Sure, her first attack won't have the buff but atleast you're guaranteed to get it the next turn. I have also come to the realisation that her blue card was probably created for the sole purpose of countering these attack seal Meli teams

This is my advice for summoning if ur a whale and u like mono go for it but if ur not whaling well first off the new mono is a blue version of the green mono we got like back in July or August maybe for global and if u have that green mono skip I repeat skip, I'll say why very simply the way festival units been going I'd save for now I'm at 320 gems so I'm chilling atm
I think She could work really well with ludo and gowther, completely avoiding her passive right now, its kinda useless, maybe you use gowther with green sariel link for more debuff, i think It could work for a good team
The one thing I like about pulling in Grand Cross is that they don't put every single character into one banner with like five featured like what they do in most gotcha games. And you're guaranteed to get the new unit by the end.
They do it for the end of year banners, overfilled with dogshit units that have no use anymore. And being guaranteed 1 copy at the end is nice, but having an ssr every multi or at least better rates would be better. The fact that you can go 900 gems without a single ssr outside of the random coin shop unit from milestones is disgusting.

Reducing def related stats by half her crit chance would mean that she would be lowering their def related stats by way to much to the point of 1 shotting basically everyone in the game except escanor which wouldnt be balanced at all. Blue monos damage bonus part of her passive just isn't good enough to reliably kill without crits as seen in several showcases by other content creators. If she gained red shins passive she would not only guarantee crits maximizing her damage potential of both green and blues weak point cards. Now while that would make her cleanse less useful the crit damage bonus is the only actual useful part of her cleanse since 30% crit chance is barely going to help anyone while the 50% crit damage will make her pop off way harder. The turn 1 aoe wipe meta is cancerous as fuck and should never return.
@@hheecckk526 you can already lower people's defense related stats by over 100% by just using OG ludo + red arthur with relic + red brunhild, and it doesnt lead to one shotting because defense barely freaking matters anyways.
@@TheBoltMaster456 the argument of having to use ludo(40%), Arthur(20%), and Bryn(15%) which is only 75% def related stats and not 100 unless you run deathpierce in the back fails to understand that it takes 4 units to do that. Your asking for 1 unit to do what 4 units together can achieve so that you can run that with 3 other people on your team to take advantage of it. With ludo, Arthur, and Bryn you are basically entirely reliant on Bryn being the damage dealer and with Arthur's and deathpierces low cc that is hardly ever going to go first against anything. Mono doesn't have the best but does have totally viable cc and adding units like escanor or purgatory meliodas would just be more cancerous to the pvp community than it already is. Your idea just would not be balanced at all in any way, shape, or form because lowering every unit in the games resistance, crit def, and crit res by over 100% with just 1 unit who in your original post would also ignore escanors passive would be the single best dps unit in the game and there would be no way to counter it other than going first and hoping you kill her turn 1.

Instead of lowering def related stats by half of crit chance it could be simply by just 33% of it(a third of it)
the fact that we're at a point where non-festival and non-collab units cannot crit festival and collab units even when their kits are MADE around crits is genuinely ridiculous. Netmarble seriously needs to start buffing the stats of non-festivals, it's genuinely getting ridiculous how big of a gap there is between non-fests and fests.
That lvl1 buff skill kills her for me, don't see why I would run this Mono over Blood and Iron that can pretty much be thrown in every team and be useful, and simply reduces crit def/resistance by 30% for just being there.. Been using Blood and Iron quite a lot with UT1/Excalibur and UT1/T Meli team mainly for her passive and being able to use that Catastrophe pvp card set.
Meh, I'm doubtful. Box cc is nice and I'm still growling over skipping Cusack and Summer Diane only to find them powerful later (plus a few retroactively adjusted to be OP) but that banner is awful. She's cute I suppose closet pieces aren't an issue and that buff card, at level 2 or 3 could be wild with Escanor or Meli but this after two must summon banners is likely an easy skip unless you're already using the disaster team
Honestly I expected her to do way worse,guess they're building up the team for later,maybe a front unit that debuffs and probably ranks up and/or a back unit that reduces crit resistence plus ofc her Holy relic
ehh problem with monos passive and her having AOE weakpoint is that ... well it scales so shittily with it , weakpoint as a base has 300% dmg increase on debuffed enemies , if you add the 120% on top of it , it would just jump up to 420% ... thats like 40% ish dmg increase, couple it with enemies damage reduction and it becomes less nad less impressive.
The lack of holy relics is so damn bad !!! It’s better to release the new unit with their relic make them look good which in return encourage us to summon on the banners instead of regretting or missing for not getting these character if they get a good relics . Netmarble have to reconsider the way they are releasing units as it stands now is bad and so tough to keep up with this , we should have a relic along with the new unit aside from festivals and they should stop stalling on releasing relics for the old ones e.g fest King ,Freyr and Assault Meli including the rest of demons too .
i only really want her for that spicy outfit. but i got run ragged by the purg meli banner, and i blame all the people who voted for green demon.13 copies of green demon meli. i had to go 900 for purg. im not even kidding, i got a 3 ssr multi they were all green demon.
I don't feel she's meant for PVP nag, altho crit chance increase is good, its too good to be for pvp Maybe for guild boss she'll be more useful, without her passive and only as a support
Both this mono and the green version have relic potential, I thought something like this "at the start of the ally turn reduces all defense stats and max hp by 20% for 1 turn, increases the hero's critical chance by 10% per debuff on enemies" would be ideal for both this new mono and green

Between her and green Iron Blood Mono it feels like she'll get Crit Chance relic. If they ever release one, that is, hopefully not in a year.

the fact that we're at a point where non-festival and non-collab units cannot crit festival and collab units even when their kits are MADE around crits is genuinely ridiculous.
Netmarble seriously needs to start buffing the stats of non-festivals, it's genuinely getting ridiculous how big of a gap there is between non-fests and fests.
That lvl1 buff skill kills her for me, don't see why I would run this Mono over Blood and Iron that can pretty much be thrown in every team and be useful, and simply reduces crit def/resistance by 30% for just being there..
Been using Blood and Iron quite a lot with UT1/Excalibur and UT1/T Meli team mainly for her passive and being able to use that Catastrophe pvp card set.

Meh, I'm doubtful. Box cc is nice and I'm still growling over skipping Cusack and Summer Diane only to find them powerful later (plus a few retroactively adjusted to be OP) but that banner is awful.
She's cute I suppose closet pieces aren't an issue and that buff card, at level 2 or 3 could be wild with Escanor or Meli but this after two must summon banners is likely an easy skip unless you're already using the disaster team

ehh problem with monos passive and her having AOE weakpoint is that ... well it scales so shittily with it , weakpoint as a base has 300% dmg increase on debuffed enemies , if you add the 120% on top of it , it would just jump up to 420% ... thats like 40% ish dmg increase, couple it with enemies damage reduction and it becomes less nad less impressive.
The lack of holy relics is so damn bad !!!
It’s better to release the new unit with their relic make them look good which in return encourage us to summon on the banners instead of regretting or missing for not getting these character if they get a good relics .
Netmarble have to reconsider the way they are releasing units as it stands now is bad and so tough to keep up with this , we should have a relic along with the new unit aside from festivals and they should stop stalling on releasing relics for the old ones e.g fest King ,Freyr and Assault Meli including the rest of demons too .
just put gowther to rank up her aoe card, plus he can debuff as well with his pumpkins
wont cut it. gowther has very low cc and will basically get one shot by meli or escanor lol.

Crit chance in this game doesn't work since day 1 of release, you can give lostvayne crit chance 200% and he still misses 40% of crits
i only really want her for that spicy outfit. but i got run ragged by the purg meli banner, and i blame all the people who voted for green demon.13 copies of green demon meli. i had to go 900 for purg. im not even kidding, i got a 3 ssr multi they were all green demon.
I think they will release a catastrophy character that ranks up alot because mono and velinti have worthless cards at rank 1

Both this mono and the green version have relic potential, I thought something like this "at the start of the ally turn reduces all defense stats and max hp by 20% for 1 turn, increases the hero's critical chance by 10% per debuff on enemies" would be ideal for both this new mono and green
They need to fix her blue card and give her a good relic and shed be a pvp demon
