Damn this was a great battle. Pretty tough decision for the judges, but I think Issei had the upper hand on this one. He's a sick battle bboy, noticing little details like when C-lil motioned that he did that more than once ( 2:37 ). And Issei responded back basically motioning that hes been doing airflares a couple times too.. Little stuff like that catches my attention.
Issei is one of the most famous bboys at this moment.. He is a young bboy from Japan, Foundnation crew! He has won R16 world finals 3x in a row, IBE seven2smoke winners edition 2013 and has been invited to many big events! Just letting you know :)
Koh Yamada Yeah, I saw that he was ranked number 1 on the list - and I saw that he won the R16 finals 3 times IN A ROW WHICH IS AWESOME, but he looks like a non-inspired bboy to me. He looks like he perfected his skill, but he's not creating anything.

But hey, maybe he'd never seen someone doing blind airflares.. WHATEVER! I talk too much, but I just disagree is all. For the record 2:25 from Issei, windmill into one a half headspin (or whatever you'd call it) to one handed halo... !!!! Hey, may've been done before, but I ain't seen it.. Shit was crazy. .. Again though, just a kinda mild variation.. Hard work to be massively innovative in bboying these days (without just looking like a complete wanker).. Enough said.. Saying lots without saying much.. This is Issei's win. To people saying C Lil took this you are wrong and only wants to see power moves. Break Dancing is not only power moves you should show the judges that you can dance other styles speciality top and floor rock and show your foot work and musicality with your normal style.

C-Lil was 100times better @this battle, and he is in category Powermoves better then Issei in my opinion. The point is that the jugdes are more footworker(maybe sometimes little powermoves for combinations), they dont know the really lvl of (for instance:)mastering a (real)one handed airflare etc. That's why battles like this need Judges like Kill, Amok, The End, Boby, Pocket etc. In our generation the best and creativest powermovers :) (and btw, sry for my english, i'm not that well in eng, hope you guys can anway understand what i mean :D)

But that's Consistency on a high level...: To represent all those years and do the same thing (like you say) but still beat many peeps in battle, is a powerful skill to be recognized! Ask your list of Judges of "your generation" who influenced them and made them to what they are now (for you and your generation to understand what to respect and not only to be blown away by a blow-up).... Also keep in mind that if you can't convince the once who slayed before you: work harder! 'Cause today it's way to easy to be popular for a single move instead of a true legend dropping consistency on a high level any can't reach!

If C-lil practices his toprock and footwork to match it with his insane power moves, then he will be more complete and also on a whole other level then Issei. Now it is just a preference thing: Do you go for Powermoves only or for a more total package showing musicality?!. And to me Powermoves should be a PART of the dance, not take OVER the dance.. Or we all can join the Circus. ;) But if this was a competition to see who has the better moves, Than I would go for C-lil too. As for Kill and Pocket! Imagine them doing sick top rocks, footwork and come up with style next to their insane power moves. That's the level we all need to strive for. Not just on one single aspect of Bboying.
