Interesting. I had actually designed a new type of armor based partly on 40K space marine armor (Mk 8). It provides protection using intrlocking plates much like a full knight suit would with the grieves having a sort of skirt armor plates that protect the gaps between the legs and waist. Yes it would be heavy (and is described as heavy armor) but it is also full body, sealed and highly resistant to most forms of ranged firepower aside from heavy weapons like anti-tank rockets or heavy cannons (Granted it does have personal shielding). In short the Dreadnought Pattern mandalorian armor is designed for those knock down drag out fights or just battles in VERY harsh conditions.
The main idea being the best policy is survivability especially for special forces units.
Not sure if this will be too difficult but what about the mandolorian language

The Mandalorian Super Commando style armor developed by Mandalore the Uniter is the most effective of all having been the culmination of years of the Mandalorian smiths & engineers in one, many of the more modern ones being in fact ones that have been reforged by the master smiths from the heirloom armors of the past handed down into the clans,
I have seen cosplayers of the Mandalorian Mercs, go to long lengths, to acquire actual metal armor, and tweek it in such a way that it looks more comic and game accurate, from the under armor clothing being old school WW I, II, Korean & Vietnam ear military fatigues from the USMC, US army & US Navy original or custom made, NOT MADE IN CHINA BS, to using shark bite proof riveted chain mail on the open joints & the coat of plates, hauberk, breastplate or chest piece to simulate fiber metal mesh, some even go as far as using LEED & Nerf guns for their wrist weapons & handheld weapons, this alos become a trend with the 501st, the Imperial Guard, Astartes & Spartan cosplayers,

I'm curious to know with the meaning of Mandalorian armour colours does it apply exclusively to independent Mandalorian's that aren't part of any clans and Mandalorian's that are part of a clan have to wear armour of specific colours to symbolise a uniform or are Mandalorian's that are part of a clan free to colour their armour the way they want to

Just an question , I'm a new subscriber, and I would like to know your opinions, on the portrayal of mandalorian, in the tv shows?
Isenskjold D it wouldn't be fair for me to say, I haven't watched Rebels. I have watched TCW though, and while I try to stay the least opinionated and unbiased as I can be on this channel, I will say that I didn't particularly like the way they handled the mandalorians in that show, hence you see why there's no mention of events that took place in TCW
Manda-LORE I actually really liked the idea of an anti-war mandalorian faction, but the madalorians themself were pretty, disappointing.
