My dad actually worked with Bradley several years ago at a job that had nothing to do with music. I think it was around that time that he recorded his first album. I have a copy on cd that my dad brought home from work. Glad to see people like Vince and Clapton recognizing his talent. And what a wonderfully humble person with obviously amazing parents.
I'd retitle this, "The Day Eric Clapton Was Blessed To Meet Bradley Walker". Beautiful, Bradley (and Rory) (and Vince). I was lucky enough to interview Bradley just after the release of his debut album. It was such a treat to have that conversation and share his music with our audience. Few have a voice and style with the authenticity and pure joy that Bradley brings. What a lovely tribute. Rory Feek, you are a humble and amazing human being. The way you celebrate your friends sets an example for all of us.

I love how God let’s you hear something that affects you just at the right time. I just came in from the snow after a chance encounter of a young man stuck in the snow on our property. He was trying to figure out which of the three houses he should deliver a package at. It was obvious that he was ill -equipped to be on the roads in so much snow. His rundown minivan with bald tires, light jacket and dirty tennis shoes secretly told a story. He was angry and discouraged. My landlord wasn’t home to help him out so I grabbed a shovel and drove him down to his car. It took us a good half hour to get him out. At that point I also was stuck and he wanted to stay and help me get out. I told him I had nowhere to go today and he needed to finish his route. I would be fine. I could tell that the kindness of a stranger was a great encouragement to him. I love little chance encounters where God can use us in seemingly small ways. Keep sending out these stories! They are so encouraging!
Wonderful encounter and I'm sure it was such a blessing to this young man that you were willing to take the time and effort to be a help to him. Spreading kindness is such a wonderful way to live.

This sounds like me. Not the delivery part. I was just a young man trying to get around in an old beat up car with bald tires. No money for gas, or anything else. If someone wanted to go somewhere, I would take up a collection, 63 cents, that’s enough for about 2.5 gallons. I could tell many stories about the adventures.
God answers our prayers through other people.
That’s the god that made this poor man handicapped and who’s book states that that god despises the handicapped.

I have followed Eric most of my life and I did not know this happened at one of his festivals. God bless Eric and Vince Gill for making this happen for Bradley. And my goodness……what a voice! Such a sincere and real talent and a true country voice. Wow! God is amazing in the way He works in people’s lives. Such an inspiring and feel good story. Man, this video gave me chills. So happy for Bradley and so proud of Eric for doing this for him. I saw Eric live, in concert in the summer of 1974 and the memory of that day is etched in my brain. I’ve basically worshipped the man for over 50 years. And although he would hate to have someone say that about him, he’s not about hero worship at all, it’s still the truth. The only reason I learned how to play the guitar was so I could play the solo to “Crossroads”, note for note. I accomplished that and then I quit. That’s all I wanted to do with the guitar. How funny. But, getting back to this video, so powerful, so wonderful, so full of love.. God bless you Bradley, Eric and Vince. God bless you all.

I’m 71 yrs old now, been playing guitar since 1964, Eric Clapton became my favorite since those early years , I saw him live in 1977 , at the Omni in Atlanta. I play his style, not as good of course, but I’d sure like to meet him one day. It must have been great. He’s a nice person. You sounded great. Glad you shared this video. I worked with his dad at a plant in north Alabama. He actually sang at one of my companies Christmas parties back in the nineties when he was with the trinity mountain boys. He is good people!

Grandpa Clapp is the best...I would never hear this guy otherwise. I really lost the count of how many wonderfull artists I got to know though Clapton.
First I watched some interview with Eric Clapton where he mentioned Bradley and the Crossroads event. So I googled Bradley and came across this video. It does wonders for me in my heart what God is doing through people like Bradley, Vince Gill, and Eric Clapton. I call my brother Keith the "miracle man." He asked me why I call him that. I told him, "Because it's a miracle you're still alive." And today as I watched first Eric's interview, I thought to myself that Eric is another "miracle man." God has done such a work in Eric's life. That means a tremendous lot to me. I had an alarm clock set to radio when I was in high school, and early one morning I was awakened by Sunshine of Your Love. That made me an Eric Clapton fan immediately. So to see how God has moved in his life really causes me to praise God.

Wow, such a beautiful story. I love to see the work of God happening through Bradley's life (first time I'm hearing/seeing him). It's a special grace to be an overcomer in the midst of physical challenges - it gives glory to Jesus Christ - and it is 'salt' & 'light'. Incredible that Eric Clapton recognized this (thinking of his comment - the most 'pure' thing he had run across in awhile) and he chose to share his platform / honor that. You can see Mr. Clapton has a wonderful heart and has overcome so much himself.

I met Mr Clapton at the Westbury hotel in NYC.
I was maybe around 15.
I was with my 2 older brothers.
My first album I ever bought was Backless when I was 10 and I was hooked.
We were in the lobby at the Westbury and Eric came down the stairway and I saw him.
I told my two brothers ,you are not going to believe this ,but it's Eric Clapton.
We just walked up to each other to say hello and he talked with us and said how about some tea.
We sat down all 4 of us for about 15 min.
Even after Eric's manager told him we got to go,Eric said to him ,I'm staying a bit longer,and asked us what we were upto.
We said we saw you last night and going to see you again tonight.
He invited us to sit with his manager at the concert.
And we went back stage and again and talked to him and took pictures.
I'm 56 now,lost my older brother joey 2 13:18 yrs ago to a heart attack who drove me to see Eric and told me ,this is the coolest and best guitarist out here.
It's a memory my brothers and I have to keep,and all i can say is Eric,thankyou,God bless you and your family.
