The best way I can describe the powers of overwrite is it's basically reality manipulation (the drawback of overwrite is you need to visit the place you want to change the reality of and you can't make people forget about anything unless they were killed by you or were killed close enough to you) from what I remember the only (guaranteed) ways to have overwrite is if either 1 you absorbed the soul of x gaster or 2 if enough of your soul was replaced with the soul of x gaster (the more of the soul of x gaster you have the stronger your version of overwrite is the less of the soul of x gaster you have the weaker your version of overwrite is and if you have to little or don't have any of the soul of x gaster you don't have overwrite at all) another way you could possibly have overwrite I have a theory about I don't know this for certain but I have a theory that the soul of x gaster is a soul of perseverance (the evidence for my theory is 1 the soul of x gaster is purple and a soul of perseverance is purple 2 if I recall correctly the soul of x gaster is right side up like a human soul (which could explain why humans are better able to use overwrite and why monsters like cross have barely any of the powers of overwrite also a soul of perseverance is a human soul) 3 not many au's show many of the powers of human souls which means it's more likely this theory could be true 4 before x gaster created the power of overwrite he was visited by ink who gave x gaster enough inspiration to create overwrite and if you have perseverance inspiration can increase your power by a decent amount and x gaster even said that without ink's inspiration he couldn't have made overwrite) if my theory is correct then that means x gaster is mostlikely not fully monster or human (x gaster has problems with determination just like a monster would but has power stronger than some random human or monster) so if this is the case x gaster is at least part human and at least part monster (my best guess is 50% human 50% monster another good guess is 25%human 75%monster)

If you mean what rank would Seraphim be compared to every who works for queen omniverse my best guess is he would be somewhere around the power of toriel (who is strongest in divinetale would be queen omniverse then gaster then asgore then toriel then asriel then undyne then mettaton then alphys then papyrus then chara and everyone else from the divinetale main cast is not that different from Undertale aside from people who have a shop or something those people would combined there company's into 1 and become very successful) so he wouldn't be a bad choice to have join however Seraphim has his own au so he would probably not have enough time to work for queen omniverse fulltime unless the multiverse was in danger or something but queen omniverse could handle that on her own (though queen omniverse might consider having Seraphim be her apprentice but only if Seraphim is fine with it if he accepted then queen omniverse would protect his au) as for if Seraphim was in the divinetale multiverse I wouldn't change him aside from giving him the powers of a dragon or something (also just so you know vampiric dust doesn't work for queen omniverse but if he did he would be more powerful than toriel)
I mean, yeah, he can't handle dt too well, but I mean, boss monsters are a thing too. they're just stronger monsters than normal. and I say boss monster in the idea that toriel and asgore are boss monsters while undyne isn't. yes, we think of undyne as a boss but canonically, she's not. so what if gaster was just a boss monster with a heavy perseverance trait in his soul. Monster souls are made up of every trait humans have, and we see that undyne has a bit more in her determination trait, so why can't gaster have a bit more in perseverance? secondly, we see from the soul that chara gets at the end of 0.3 that it doesn't have any of gaster's soul in it. it's just US chara's soul that they stole from. so That begs the question, how does chara still have overwrite in 0.4? It only makes sense if theres a different way to get overwrite that makes a little more sense right? You can either A. Have all or a piece of gaster's soul, or B. be granted the power by gaster himself, right? The evidence is there in some of the x-tale movies. Xgaster grants frisk the ability of overwrite, and then their able to use it. I hate being nitpicky, but some of your theory just didn't make sense in my eye's so that's my take on it. if you disagree, I'd love to hear why.
I didn't say my theory was perfect x gaster could be a boss monster who has lots of perseverance in their soul but there are some things that don't add up if x gaster was a boss monster because if he is I'm pretty sure in Undertale it was said that boss monsters had some determination within their soul (which means he should have at least been able to resist determination) but yes boss monsters are stronger than most other monsters I don't think every monster has any amount of human soul traits I'd more so believe that certain monsters have some amount of 1 2 or perhaps even 3 human soul traits I'd believe mostly boss monsters would get more soul traits or a bigger amount of there soul trait which would mean they would usually be stronger than other monsters (part of why I don't think every monster has some amount of each soul trait is because then every monster could heal people but not all of them can so that means to me not every monster has some amount of each soul trait if that isn't good enough asgore has fire magic and fire magic would be from bravery and he isn't that brave) my thoughts on how chara still had overwrite is while yes they took part of the soul of underswap chara it's possible that chara still had the soul energy from x gaster but it was unable to be seen in the soul of underswap chara (but I'm not saying that x gaster can't just give you overwrite) until underverse and xtale are complete (or the creator of xtale and underverse says so) these are just idea's and theory's
