Henry is absolutely gorgeous! The perfect camera assistant. Though he looked a little miffed with the offer of bread over sausage curry. Hope you got some good shots and the exhibition is a success. A thoughtful moment by the fire, a time with Paul. Looks like you had a restful night camping and greeted with glorious morning skies. Shame to see the rubbish left behind, we can only try to leave a place better than how we found it hey. Hope you have a good week Mark, all the best.
Hi there Betty, yeah Henry is adorable. Mellow as....even when not getting fed. We did get some great shots thanks and the exhibition is coming along. Re-Paul he kept arising from within - I was him numerous times. It was odd but super nice. Yeah, a good night had. AS for the rubbish people - they're babies aren't they? I went back yesterday and cleaned up the rest. Thanks Betty - always good. Take care. Mark
Hi Mark! It was such a lovely video full of interest. Jason seems like a great guy, not letting his injury restrict him! I hope he does well in his degree! How beautiful your moment with your Paul, I really hope it gives you much comfort knowing he is always with you and you with him. Stunning place to camp and take in those views. Definitely an added bonus of a camp fire. I wish I could understand why people leave rubbish - they carry the bottles there, so it's no effort to carry them back! Anyway, thankfully those kind of people are in the minority!! Really enjoyed the video Mark... you take care, Jenny.
Hi Jenny, just picked this comment up - didn't show when posted. Yeah, Jase a has a good heart and is determined. Ah, those moments with Paul's spirit are out of this world. I love them. Re-the spot it's a face for sure views and all - going back this Saturday to pick them bottles up. I just can't leave them there. They're babies - we have to pick up after then. Thanks Jenny-always appreciated. Have a great weekend. Mark
Hi Mark, looks like you had a great wild camp with perfect weather and views, nice putting the world to rights looking into that fire into the night time, in spirit your brother must have been about, nice one for clearing the emptys cheers nigel
Hi there Nige, yeah perfect weather that made for a great camp. For sure we discuss the issues of the day - love that around the fire as well as the more reflective and personal things such as my dear Paul. Oh yeah, he was right there inside of me. As for the empties I went back the other weekend and cleaned the rest up. Cheers Nigel - appreciated. Mark
Always good to be in special places! My neighbour, Tona, burns sheep's wool to make a dense smoke to keep the wild boar and badgers away from his maize fields. Your affinity with Paul is nothing the rest of us can understand. It is certainly something special that only the two of you shared and that you feel him close in such environments must be a comfort, and its a stunning location to camp and feel him close.
I agree Andrew - we can't overdo a visit to a special place. I've just been told that sheep's wool needs some intense heat - makes sense that it will smoke from what I experienced. Re-Paul he was so close - I kept seeing him come up through inside me. Ah, it was the hill Andrew - he loved it there. It is a comfort. Many thanks. Mark
Great video, we brought back a huge bag of rubbish from one walk on our last trip. People are so thoughtless. "Meeting" Jason was great. Thanks for taking us along.
Hi Dave, glad you liked this outing mate. Totally with you on your efforts to clean up there. They've lost their minds. Re-Jason pleased you resonated with him. All the best up there. Mark
What a fabulous subject for a photography exhibition 😉 lots of luck to Jason with his degree. I loved this video Mark. It's always special to see glimpses of Hay Bluff... the view from my old bedroom window, along with Twmpa. I miss the area so much & often think of returning. Earlier this year sheep farmers were protesting about poor wool prices by burning the wool. Logic says that the lanolin in it must be flammable but apparently it has to be a powerful heat source for it to burn. I suppose that's why it's sometimes used for house insulation. Happy walking!
Hi there Anita - good to gear from you. Ha, me the subject - I'm happy for that - hope Jason does well. Re-the bluff and area I'm always happy that it resonates. I know how it feels to see it - hope you can visit. Call me and we'll walk. As far as the sheep's wool is concerned it just wasn't taking. Your analogy makes sense - I mean the insulation. Well, always good - many thanks. Take care out there. Mark
Thank you so much for the amazing video of your secluded campsite overlooking Hay Bluff and helping your friend Jay! Your video really captures the beauty and tranquility of this place, creating a feeling of total immersion in nature. Your outdoor camping and travel experience is an inspiration to anyone who loves to spend time outdoors. Every moment captured in your video conveys an atmosphere of harmony with the environment. Your video is not only about nature, but also about friendship, mutual help and support. This gives the video even more meaning and depth. Your comments and camping tips are also very helpful. They help understand how to best prepare for such trips, what to pack and how to enjoy every moment spent outdoors. The music and video editing are top notch. They create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making watching the video a real pleasure. I look forward to your new videos and new adventures. Thank you for your work and for sharing such unique moments with us! Subscribed to your channel - waiting for a subscription and views on my channel! Best wishes, Vladimir 🇧🇪
Hi, thank you for such an amazing and elaborate comment. I'm happy you enjoyed the outdoor camping, views and my mate Jay. You're right the place has a great atmosphere. Many thanks for the subscription. All the best. Mark
That's a great camping spot Mark and a lovely morning to wake up to... The words you spoke about Paul were quite touching and appreciate the honesty... I've got a couple of days in the Black Mountains coming up and hoping to do Hay Bluff this time... Thanks for sharing Mark
Hi there Nathan, for sure bro an awesome spot and morning. I'm happy you resonate with my words. I never expected to feel that way but I did. All the best on the bluff - I look forward to that one. A pleasure. Mark
Good morning Mark. I watched and enjoyed it on the tv. Another good one mate. Very easy to sit back relax and enjoy. Beautiful spot and beautiful views. You and your mate seem to have a lot in common. Good curry😁👍 I can sit and watch a good fire for hours, looks like dogs can too. You are very honest and say it as it is, I like that. Nicely shared that you cried when you walked on your own. My best mate has an older brother and sister. He used to say to me twins are weird😂 When his sisters went into labor he said his bro had stomach pains too. I don't know, crazy bond though that not many will experience or understand. Keep caring and sharing. Well done taking the bottles you could carry👍 All the best mate👋
Alright there Jamie, thanks mate - I really appreciate your kind and supportive words. For sure a great space to gather the self especially around the fire - that was a bonus. Re-me speaking of Paul and me shedding a tear it was profound up there - I kept seeing him through me. I think that's what brought it on. Yes, we had a far out bond in life - we fought to mind you. But we never fought over the environment bottles and all - that we agreed upon. Many thanks Jamie. Take care out there. Mark
That was great Mark, its so good that you are the subject for Jays project. This place is so beautiful and perfect for his photography exhibition. Your camp spot looked lovely and Cefn Hill is beautiful, nice that there are ponies and sheep up there with beautiful views all around too including Pen y Fan 😃 So sad to hear of Jasons accident, he does so well with one arm by the sound of it, what an inspiration. Never had or heard of sausage curry Mark but I'm going to try it tonight now ! Loved the look of the camp fire and how you stayed up having time alone too in a gorgeous location. Lovely morning with the sound of nature and so bad that peiple leave rubbish there, well done for placing on clearing it . Great watch and hope the exhibition goes well 🙏Cant leave another like so will leave this 🙂👏 ~ Anna
Hey, Anna - great comment. Yeah, I'm honored to be asked by him - we've known each other a long time and I knew this place would be ideal for him ponies, views, sheep and all. And oh yeah Pen Y Fan. Jason's lucky to be alive but it's been a real trial his hand and arm - the amount of ops. He's done amazingly well. As for the curry go for it with your best sausage. Tasty! Re-the fire it was good to chat with Jase then think about me and Paul. I found it emotional up there - he loved that hill and he kept emerging from within. Amazing! As for the rubbish - they're babies and ill. We clean up after babies and ill people. Thanks Anna - I'm sure the exhibition will be great. All the best. Mark
Nice one Mark, memories of Keven Hill and now more up to date! Great to wild camp with Jason and his lovely dog also! Nice chat by the fire, cheers, Simon
Hey, Simon thanks. I love going back there and as you say into today now too. It was a great camp with good company dog and all. Re-the fire chat Paul was present so strongly - I had to share that. All the best. Mark
Hi there Doug - good to hear from you old mate. For sure an inspiring spot - loved it. As for Jase he'll come through I have no doubt. Yeah, he lost his mum too during rehab - for got to mention the sweet soul of Marlene. All the best out there. Mark
Another Beautiful spot Mark,we do live in a fabulous part of the country, even the world,.Wow,Jason is hell of a chap, just getting on with life,I guess that's his upbringing. You have great fire building skills man.I can never understand it Mark, people go to these glorious spots, and then leave rubbish, I can't understand the mentality. Loved the fire side chat.Off to Monmouth the weekend, so will be by the Monnow again.have a good one.
Hey, thanks there old mate. Oh, without doubt our region is as good as any on the UK. Re-Jason he's a tough cookie - yeah his family have something to do with that. I do like to build a nice fire but not in the company of mindless rubbish. As far as the fire chat is concerned Paul was the close I could only but cry. I was happy for it. All the best in Monmouth - hope it's a great weekend. Mark
Really enjoyed this video Mark, great location and story of why you're there. You certainly did grow up around some really interesting people. I remember reading No Mean Soldier when I was a young soldier. Peter certainly lived an interesting life. The bonus fire pit was a blessing and yes sheeps wool isn't great tinder.
Hi there Mike, yeah a fabulous space - but hated the rubbish. Ah, there's a lot of regiment family in Hereford - we know each other and some have lived far out lives like their dads. Re-Pete he had been around the block and some more. He lived! I found that out about the wool - odd! But hey got a good one going. Thanks old mate. Take care out there. Mark
Brilliant Mark, good to see you out with ya buddy Jay. i bet you both enjoy sharing stories passed down. looked a great spot, shame about the litter but as you say eventually it will be gone. all the best, Tony
Thanks Tony, yeah we do share stories - we have that in common. For sure a superb spot - you'd enjoy it. Re-the litter I went back a couple of weeks ago and cleared it all up and carried it back into town - recycled. Easy as - if only they could see it the same way. Take care bro. All the best. Mark
Alright there Robin, glad you liked this one mate - nice and mellow. Yeah for hood for connecting on all them levels Paul included. For sure the fire pit said, 'use me.' Thanks old mate. All the best. Mark
Lovely video. I had no idea Jase lost an arm it must have been truly terrible to go through but he doesn’t look to have been affected very much, he seems as determined and driven as I remember him. Also didn’t know his old man had died, very sad.
Hi there John, yeah Jase has been through a bit of a time. He lost his mum Marlene during rehab too-forgot to mention her sweet soul. For sure he's a motivated man. All the best out there. Mark
Great camp out back to that Beautiful spot .Litter bugs been at it again grr Humans .When carrying back packs picking up rubbish we can only carry so much out if we can at all big up for that . When i came across left camp site i got all the big stuff to one pile and called the council out i did bag up the rubbish and took out with me .I also take a bag to the beach clean up when i can . Jason he is defo lucky to survive that bless him .Hope youre well Mark .ATB Max
Hey, Max - yeah the most wonderful spot. But hey them ill humans were about. Good to hear how you approach it - it's the only way. I mean we have to be in service eh? Yeah, Jason was fortunate to come out of that alive. Thanks Max - hope you're well out there. Mark
Hi Mark , think this is one of my favourite of your videos, really nice chilled relaxed Vlog with lovely positive energy. I know Cefn Hill but never been up there , wow what amazing views of the Hay Bluff and Eastern escarpment. Interesting to know about the Monnow, had no idea that river source was there! Jason seems very good fun and what a great attitude and positivity after what an awful accident. The SAS curry’s made me laugh , nice memories of Paul there too. Thanks for showing us that lovely place P.s- views down that Monnow valley with the cats back on the right were incredible..
Hi there Adam, thanks mate. I can see why you like it - the space and the relaxed feel, the nice day even. Yeah, you'll see Cefn Hill from the Bluff - one that's ignored for all the big ones. But the views are incredible - just the shape of the mountains and the Monnow valley. I hope you walk it one day. Jase is a tough cookie. He's come through a lot and yeah he's a laugh. Re-the curry's my dad, Lofty and Jason's dad would indeed curry anything. I was eating it as a baby. And as for Paul - well I had some special visions and feelings. Many thanks old mate. Take care out there. Mark
@@WyeExplorer No problem, really enjoying your walks so far this year they have all been great. This one in particular really high lights the positivity of living an outdoors focused life. Was a pleasure to watch. Have a good week mate
Hi Mark, what a great spot to pick for a campsite, stunning. I have read about some of Jason's Dads escapades. He certainly had an interesting life, sad to hear of his passing. Quadrant Park, it's a long time since I have heard that. When I was doing The Autumn Leaf treatment of The Railway line that ran past it, we used to use the Quadie as a marker to switch on the equipment as we rode past it heading in either direction on the Ormskirk Line. Happy Days mate 👍👍
Alright there Steve, yeah my friend an awesome spot and angle on the bluff. Yeah, Pete had an amazing life on the edge - Jason kind of did similar in certain circles. Ah, amazing - our Liverpool connection again Steve. Interesting to hear of your work bro - it's an interesting district. Do you remember the old fire station nearby? You may or may not. Any way, thanks old mate. Take care. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Alright mate. No I don't remember the old Fire Station unfortunately. The council closed down an old one by me a few years ago, it still had the Big Red Fire Brigade light switched on at night. It's just been turned into Luxury Apartments, it's the old Allerton Fire Station. It was nice hearing you tell Jason about your time in Liverpool, you will never forget that mate, you're an honorary Scouser. Take Care pal 👍👍
@@stephensmith4480 Ah, I did wonder. Hey, them old stations have some character. I've just looked at the Allerton one - great old design. Ha, that's a nice thought Steve - an honorary Scouser. I ended up sounding lie you guys. I wil take care - you too.
@@WyeExplorer Ha ha, I would love to hear you do a Video in a Scouse Accent mate. Yes the old Allerton Police Station was adjoining it. I I think that's part of the new complex now also. I remember going in there back in the day, when it was open, but that's another story 😜😜
@@stephensmith4480 Well, I would hang out with the locals Steve. I used to go to the heights out at Netherley where I had some friends. I also used to promote the Grin Up North parties (Vertigo DIY etc at the Poly. I had a time of it and did sound vaguely like a scouse given the right situation. Good to hear you got to go inside before the new development. Great memories of how things were.
Hi Abigail. Yeah, hope Jase does well. I'm glad you liked this one fireside thoughts included. Re-Henry - simply adorable. All the best out there. Mark
Watched this one with my parents, they enjoyed your style. Mum recognised some of the shots from your Instagram page. Dad's checking the area out on Google Maps now, haha.
Mark, you are a great subject👍 Really cool to meet Jason (and Henry) and hear some of his story. You both had a lovely spot to tune into nature and look to the hills. The curry looked the business👍 A beautiful morning with the sun☀birdsong and views. Bit by bit - it all makes a difference👍
Hi there gerry, glad you think I'm a good subject. Yeah, Jason's been about and his dad. For sure a grand spot with the Black Mountains escarpment there - ideal for nature, curry and spiritual connections. Re-the morning - couldn't ask for more including the lovely dawn chorus. Yes, a big difference. Take care out there - have a great week ahead. Mark
That looked like a great camp Mark, it looks a stunning place. The curry looked really good simple but tasty. What a resilient guy Jay must be that sounded horrendous. Thanks for sharing buddy. As I'm writing this looks like you have replied to an other comment on another video. 👌👌
Hi Garry, yeah it's a special place mate - one that's kind of sacred to me. The curry was dead basic but hey you got that right - tasty. Re-Jay he's like his dad a tough Ombre. A pleasure to share. Yes, commented on your latest. All the best out there. Mark
Hey Mark, your friend has a good subject! Hope the results of the shoot were all good? Great subject, photography, absorbing & makes you look at stuff in so many different ways Nice to see you had canine company too, really cute little fella. Why oh why can’t some people be arsed to take their litter out?! Really grinds my gears, that 😡 But great views & a lovely spot. Magical to have such a connection with Paul ❤️ All the best, be looking out for the next one 😊 Sue
Alright there Sue, ah I was happy to help-the results were fantastic. Little Henry is adorable - so mellow. Re-the rubbush I'm off back there today on my own to puck the rest of the rubbish up. They're little babies aren't they? For sure brilliant views. As for my connection with Paul he just kept emerging from within. It was emotional. Many thanks. Mark
Good luck to your friend with his degree and big respect to him for cracking on nice camp Mark and listening to you talk about you feeling the presence of Paul atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍🤟
Thanks Jimmy. Yeah, he's getting on - he's done well. Re-the camp that turned out better than expected too. As for Paul he kept on emerging from inside - such a far out feeling. He loved that hill and space. Well, all the best out there. Mark
Hi Dave, yeah it was chilled. I wasn't going to do much initially but you know how it goes. Yeah, that tent in such a sheltered spot is idea. Thanks Dave. All the best. Mark
A nice place for camping 🏕️. I like the sausage curry, it looks very tasty. A beautiful sunset and a great campfire before bed. A fantastic day spent in nature 👍
Hi Vedrana-for sure it's a fantastic spot. In fact the curry tasted better there amid the sunset. Re-the camp fire - it made the day. All the best. Mark
Enjoyed that Mark, looked a chilled out camp especially with the fire looked lovely and peaceful, although I’m not sure about the curried sausage 😁👍 , we haven’t been to the Black Mountains for a while - need to do some more exploring over that way , thanks for sharing ATB Mark & Simon 👍👌
Alright there, good to hear you enjoyed this one. Yeah, a relaxed time out with an old mate. Re-the fire loved kicking back and reflecting back on my dear late Paul - he truly did appear within me numerous times. He loved that hill. Well, the mountains are always there. A pleasure to share. Mark
That fire was awesome my friend.. natures television set without the media idiots !! lol Paul will always be with you bro !... that ethereal sensation will never leave you my friend !!
Yeah, found the pit a distance away from camp - had to build one without the idiots in it. As for Paul he was close - so very strong. No, he'll always show up Andy. Thanks bro. All the best. Mark
Brilliant camp Mark you and Jay definitely are at home inthese hills (lots of common interests and background made for some fascinating interaction mate 👌🏻) A solid curry and an open fire 🔥 wow perfect Glad Paul joined too mate he walks with you ! ATB Simon 🤠👍 Thanks for this 🙏🏼
Hey, thanks Simon. Yeah, it was a good one common ground and all. Ah, couldn't speak to Jay without giving some background - members of our families have done some things as well as eat lots of curry - that was nice. Re-Paul that was and is an amazing feeling - it happens fairly often. Many thanks Simon. Have a great week ahead. Mark
Ah Mark this is so good that you've been chosen for this project, definitely no better person for helping in this. Will watch it later in the big screen, leaving a like in advance 👍😃~ Anna
That's scary to hear about the car accident. I am just about to do refresher driving lessons for the exact reason - driving on the left side! Love the energy though, no complainig, no stopping him from enjoying hikes. It is a beautiful place, you sure had some peaceful atmosphere there. Yep at points I've started carrying a bag just to pick up after others. Always amazes me that it's easier to carry down than up there as all is empty and yet, no people just leave it around.
Yeah, it is scary Eva - out of the blue things can change. I mean we've both been through stuff as you have no doubt. And for sure the world does not stop turning. You'd love this area - ha not always tranquil but was on this night. Re-the rubbish - it's mad isn't it the fact it's lighter later? Eh bien, merci beaucoup . Mark
Hi Mark,Hi Jason, let me know if you need anything more doing in the garden Jase, Drive way looks good. Sorry to hear about your Dad M8. When you Mark mentioned Jason, and i saw Henry, i bloody knew who it was going to be ha ha. Mark loved this one , another cracking film. Only a twin can know what its like to loose their sibling. Was speaking to a lady i know who lost her twin. Good to see you two and Henry ATB to you 😊👍
Hi Steve. Sop, you know good old Jase then? It's not surprising because he knows a fair few good people you being one of them. Yes, his dad passed - he had a life. Re-Paul it was a profound day - he kept arising from within me. He loved that hill. Many thanks old mate. Take care out there. Mark
@@WyeExplorer Yes I knew Jason from school originally. Not seen him for many years and then just recently our paths met again. Good bloke, And then he pops up on here ha ha.
@@WyeExplorer I really enjoyed that as always Mark. Beautiful spot where you camped on Cefn Hill, nice to see where location of the source of the Monnow. Loved the fireside feelings of Paul you shared and enjoyed the sound of nature around you like the cuckoo and the sheep the next morning. Alright there Mark - yeah it was good one mate company, dog and all. The fire pit was a bonus. For sure the curry was as good as the views. All the best. Mark
A lovely camp spot that Mark, in a shallow bowl with the sound of the cuckoo. Your mate Jase certainly seems an interesting character. Good on you shifting some of that crap too. I despair sometimes at the selfishness of some. Anyway, sorry to end on a negative. Best wishes, Chris
It sure is Chris - I think it's a future favorite cuckoos and all. Yeah, Jase has been about skydiving and the Legion and what not. As for the rubbish they're babies - we have to clean up after em. Thanks Chris - take care. Mark
Hey mate. Great seeing you out enjoying the environment. You are right. Great views. I believe it’s the Lanolin in the wool that doesn’t take kindly to aflame. ( don’t quote me ). An enjoyable relaxing watch. 👌🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻
Nice one Mark, another nice camp mate . I noticed a couple of buzzards above you when you were eating your curry. I once knew a guy who had a similar injury to Jason, the guy i knew used fly fish with the use of one arm. Cracking morning to wake up to , stunning .. I dont understand these people who can carry stuff in and cant take it back out , its a major problem in the honey pot camping areas up here ..Good vid as usual bro ...cheers Stevie
Alright there Stevie, yeah it was a good camp - not far to walk but awesome space. Ah, buzzards and all - nice! Re-your mate and Jason - we don't realize just what these limbs do for us once they're gone. Hats off to those challenged in this way. Jase is doing stella. As for the babies leaving rubbish - we clean up after babies eh? Thanks stevie - take care out there. Mark

Good curry😁👍
I can sit and watch a good fire for hours, looks like dogs can too.
You are very honest and say it as it is, I like that.
Nicely shared that you cried when you walked on your own.
My best mate has an older brother and sister. He used to say to me twins are weird😂
When his sisters went into labor he said his bro had stomach pains too. I don't know, crazy bond though that not many will experience or understand.
Keep caring and sharing.
Well done taking the bottles you could carry👍
All the best mate👋
Alright there Jamie, thanks mate - I really appreciate your kind and supportive words. For sure a great space to gather the self especially around the fire - that was a bonus. Re-me speaking of Paul and me shedding a tear it was profound up there - I kept seeing him through me. I think that's what brought it on. Yes, we had a far out bond in life - we fought to mind you. But we never fought over the environment bottles and all - that we agreed upon. Many thanks Jamie. Take care out there. Mark
Ahhhh , glorious evening, glorious morning, you both are rich of this wonderful adventure and landscape 🥾💛🌿
It sure was glorious Gaddielle - it was very touching on the hill too what with my late twin. Good times with my mate though. All the best. Mark

That was great Mark, its so good that you are the subject for Jays project. This place is so beautiful and perfect for his photography exhibition. Your camp spot looked lovely and Cefn Hill is beautiful, nice that there are ponies and sheep up there with beautiful views all around too including Pen y Fan 😃
So sad to hear of Jasons accident, he does so well with one arm by the sound of it, what an inspiration.
Mark
@@WyeExplorer Thanks, yes I'll let you know about the curry, I've just bought some Cumberland which are our favourites 😃👏

Mark
Beautiful spot to camp Mark. Good luck to Jay and judging from what he’s been through he will persevere at this and anything he does.
Mark
Lovely job. Hope you are keeping well.
Alright there friend. Thanks. Me? Getting on. All the best. Mark
Great feeling when you wake up on the mountain, lovely camp out Mark, take care 👍🏻🏴
Alright there Mark, yeah you know how it goes - just the best early morning on the slopes. Glad you liked the camp. Take care.
Mark
Another interesting outing Mark, hope all goes well for Jay's finals !
Hi Grant, glad you liked the video mate. I reckon Jase has done well. Many thanks - and all the best out there.
Mark
Nice time in the beautiful green nature. Such a wonderful place to camp 😊😊😊😊 Happy day to you. Søren

Great video Mark, nice and chilled with Jay and of course being close to Paul. Gotta take advantage of a previous fire pit too. 🔥

Thanks for showing us that lovely place
P.s- views down that Monnow valley with the cats back on the right were incredible..
