Finally somebody who really knows how to take a great video and move the camera slowly where you can actually see the boat congratulations on a good video job much respect
Everyone has their opinions on different manufacturers and their models. If you are purchasing through a Broker or individual we recommend you hire a SAMS or NAMSGlobal accredited surveyor and perform a sea trial. You can find a local surveyor on their websites: www.marinesurvey.org/ or www.namsglobal.org/listings/ . This will allow you to get insurance on your vessel, and know the current condition of the vessel. Similar to a home inspection, you will receive a deficiency list based on the surveyors recommendations of the vessel.
Do not confuse Cruiser/runabout models with their yachts. They are layed up quite strong, usually 2.5" or more. Check this site out meridianpilothouse.com/meridian-bayliner-pilothouse-motoryacht-history/ Scroll down to Bayliner photos. If you are telling me this is not safe then do not buy any production boat!
I am so tired of hearing the Bayliner curse over and over again, heard from a friend of a friend of a friend Bayliners are not good.... I have owned many Bayliners and they have been wonderful... Yes back in the day when AMF owned them they were poor quality what do you expect for 10k for a boat, motor, trailer package Do you think a cookie cutter over priced Searay is a better deal.... I dont think so
