- The funeral of Rev. Erlo H Stegen, known as Baba Mfundisi, took place on 8 October 2023. The founder and director of KwaSizabantu Mission was called home on 26 September, at the age of 88. Thousands of people from the church, the Zulu nation, across South Africa and abroad attended the funeral at KwaSizabantu Mission. His death is a resounding call to be on fire for the Lord - a call to his children, to his coworkers, ministers of the gospel throughout the world and the church of Jesus Christ to spread the gospel to all. “Let the Gospel go. May it spread across the whole world!”
I grow up on the mission,uncle erlo and uncle always love his Zulu so much, true man of God the Bible he never played with Christ
Only a few can come to this earth and fulfill what he/she was born for. He fought a good fight and won the race. The king of glory must be proud of the mission accomplished by his servant. Glory to the most high God, Jesus is his name
I thank God for having had the opportunity to see what God can do through one man. Erlo was a cloud of witness for our times, may his legacy continue through those who lived with him day by day.
The impact that this man of God had on my life is beyond words
I am what I am child of God since 1974 till know I will never forget what God did to me through Baba Rev.Erlo.

Kwazizabantu means" the place where people receive help" in the Zulu language. I spent a week of my annual leave in the 80,s at Kwazizabantu and was blessed by the wonderful atmosphere of love and respect among people from different cultures and backgrounds worshipped and served God together. Thank you Bro. Erlo💖

Truly saddened by the news of the passing of pastor Stagen. He was the living evidence of a true Christian. Just like Paul, he could have called us to imitate him as he imitated Christ. Oh what a great loss. Resurrection is promised.
