Puppies will eat anything and everything, especially when they’re a breed that is close to the floor. As his owner said, they hoover up everything they can swallow. Unfortunately, he probably won’t learn better from this experience. He’s just too cute!
so, true But owners need to make sure there is nothing dangerous on the floor. We had dachshunds and just like a child you need to responsibly and protect them.
Love Dachshunds. I grew up with one, her name was Heidi. I got her when I was four, she lived until Kia was 21. Glad Collin came to see you and get this taken care of.
This puppy is cuteness overload! Yes they will eat everything and anything so everyone that has a puppy be vigilant and make sure you keep everything off the floor and out of their reach.
I swear my Golden Retriever, needs to have a loyalty card at her vet's office for visits related to things she's eaten but wasn't supposed to eat. The funniest was when we switched clinics after moving- she tried to eat her blood sample after it slipped out of the vet tech's hands when he was getting ready to put it in the centrifuge
My puppy once tried swallowing a toad and started frothing. Rinsed her mouth to wash out the poison. Don't know what would have happened if it went unnoticed! Dogs are clumsy and put anything and everything in their mouths 😢
Where I live, the toads are thankfully not actually dangerous, but the first time my boy Cole caught one I was *petrified*. Thankfully my very good vet showed us how to wash his mouth for comfort after reassuring us that for most dogs it's the equivalent of a bee sting. Something to keep an eye on but not immediately dangerous. Thank goodness because the silly boy never learned that it was the toads giving him his itchy mouth. 😂 (Also please do not assume your toads are my toads, pet owners of the internet and talk to your own vet if your pup catches one!)
"I'd love to think he's learned from his mistake... but he probably hasn't." Ain't that the truth. Good thing they're so cute!!😂

Look at that tail go! How many people do you know that are that happy to see you? We don't deserve dogs ❤
I love this channel! As a younger teen who wants to be a vet when I’m older this channel really helps me get a grasp on what’s it like to be a vet!

Everyone is so sweet with their patients. Be careful next time Colin!
Thank you for helping him out.
Prayers and God's blessings to everyone and your families

That sounds horrific! Hoping your puppy was alright ❤
agreed @bondivet
You're a great vet, Dr. Scott!!💯👆🐾🐶@BondiVet
Your the most amazing vet! However, poor pup!❤
Iam 12 years old and iam becoming a vet when iam older so this helps if a puppie has something stuck in his stomach
Good for you!🙂
Dr Scott is the best
My 6 yr old chihuahua needed emergency surgery as well cause she ate my sock 😮😢 poor wee girl was in so much pain after surgery 😢😢
🥺❤
Sock? Aw man :( I hope your chihuahua is now okay.
@@TamagotchiKid12_PaperPlane64 she has been left with Acid reflux but appears to be fully back to normal
Mine swallowed poisonous tree seeds in his first year and needed to be on the drip for three days in the vet emergency room
Poor dashshund😢
I always wanted a dachshund ❤I never know where they sell at😢
My dashhound get June bugs
❤❤❤
Are people still giving their dogs bones? Even with vets and trainers and owners shouting "NO".
😢❤❤❤
❤
My dogs aren't pups anymore but they still forage and try to eat bad stuff on walks like duck poop 😅🤢
They’re notorious for eating things they shouldn’t
Raw bones are fine cooked ones never are
❤❤❤💐👍🏻🇨🇭
Could have easily made him poop it out… anesthesia and surgery for nothing… i think the dr was just in the mood for surgery
It’s actually stuck in the system so surgery is necessary
