Also to the point of still using finance & on higher purchase & again claiming it all on company tax claims.

I have pretty much guaranteed I will be poor the rest of my life by getting into airplanes, but I can just go to the airport, hop in my plane, and fly hundreds of miles to get a hamburger if I want. I may live in a tiny apartment with a room mate, but I am living. and if you saw my plane, I think you would love it. 1969 piper cherokee with what looks to be original 1969 paint (whats left of it) she might not look like much, but shes got it where is counts.

for wood replacement on boat and trailer I recommend switching to the plastic / PVC boards. for my deck boards I recycled some scrapped pvc boards from a commercial bath room. I picked them up from the green project in New Orleans maybe you got a similar resource in Florida. For my Running boards on my trailer I PVC glued together (with clams and SST wood screws) two 1x4 pvc trim boards to make 2x4's cut and bolted them in place.

I bought a small Mercury outboard from my local Bass Pro. A couple years later I went back to buy a propeller. They said ok, we'll order you one. What? You don't stock the propeller for a common outboard that you sell? Sorry. I'll get it from Amazon for half the price and free home delivery. I try to support my local businesses but they gotta make an effort. BTW I had a V45 Sabre with the same fairing. It was a screamer. I can't imagine what the V65 is like. I'm not a bolt guy, but I thought about the cons of using nuts and bolts instead of screws, I might be completely wrong. Nuts and bolts are more likely to corrode and seize, making it harder to take apart for maintenance. That being said if you put a steel screw into aluminum you'll end up with the same problem. The second thing is weight, the extra length of a bolt to pass all the way through and then putting a bolt on the back side can add up to extra pounds when your replacing hundreds if not thousands of screws with nuts and bolts. I don't know if any of that helps, but I love the videos.

I had the same question about baller expensive boats and he said the fishing comp people get wild. They’ll launch a 500k+ boat at a tournament in Pensacola, go all the way to Louisiana to fish and still be back in time to turn in.

They are lucky to have Bob rigging boats there he does an amazing job not just rushing the boat out the door with problems to be corrected later when you just wanted to fish. Smaller dealers are better & a great one delivers great customer satisfaction. Mercury is great but you just can't go wrong with a Yamaha or Suzuki on the back.

There's nothing wrong with you than nuts and bolts on boat parts as long as they're stainless steel, preferably polished. If you're screwing stainless into aluminum, use some Teflon gel to help prevent corrosion. Also, if you're attaching something to the boat ( like a strike plate to the bow) you can use 5200 adhesive to help sick and seal around the screws.

My part time job is to set appointments for home improvements. We go to local events and home shows. At a boat show there were small boats that cost more than luxury cars. I see the people visiting the show and wonder what types of jobs they have to afford such things. Then I look at new car and truck prices and wonder the same thing.
I have never been in the middle class. As a single person, if I were earning even the lowest end of a middle class income, I would feel wealthy. The best hope for me ever owning a home is probably to buy a big cargo trailer and convert it into a tiny house. Finding a place to park it would be the second challenge. I can't even afford a car. I travel on a little motor scooter.
Life sucks. Then you die. I heard that as a child. Now I'm experiencing it. If there is an afterlife, I hope it is an improvement.

After seeing those house priced boats your boat is a vessel of crap . . . . but it's still a vessel

Your boat is fine, like bikes you've obviously realized there are levels, I have a used Boston Whaler I've restored, a 17 ft BW and above you can fish offshore, think of it as an FXR on the water

Make sure Cammie wears a magic bikini when she launches the boat! LOL! Those who complain about the cost of a boat DON'T HAVE ONE! LOL! So enjoy yours knowing that and laugh at them! LOL! You will continue to talk carp and that's what we like about you! LOL!
If you state 4-8 weeks for delivery those who get them in that time are happy and those who get them earlier are really happy, win-win for everyone!

I bought my 1994 Proline for $14000 in 1999….sold it a few years ago for $2K to get it out of the driveway….honestly, I regret doing that, but I just didn’t have the time to work on getting it running again….good deals are out there.
