I took a completely blind guess at Lisa and it turned out correct. Also, I guessed Itto like 4 times and got it wrong, then on Itto’s actual dish I guessed wrong as well.

Got everyone right so i guess you can say that MiHoYo did a great job designing special dishes since the food is very similar to the character and things like plates is in characters colour scheme (got Shenhe last second just because i was looking at the food the entire time, so i switched my attention to the plate and immidiatly got it)
Did the same thing when I was guessing Barbara.
childe's looks normal to me tbh, I don't see anything that give him away
I'm a childe simp but I never knew he had a special dish. However the moment I saw the dish I immediately knew it was his. My gut told me so. Is that a simp instinct? Oh and the game was really fun btw

wow I actually managed to get All of them correct despite not having most of the characters whatsoever, I'm god.
Though here's an advice, if you don't know who's specialty it is try to look around the food for clues related to the characters, there's bound to be some of the characters design infused with their specialty dish, that's how I figured out shenhe's, from the bowl pattern.
The only one i didnt get was aloys food😭
I got shenhes because of the red rope

advices for people who hasn't done it yet : Look at the appearance and try to remember which character it goes too, for Shenhe food, we coold recognize the patern on it who was similar to what she has on her outfit

Since I accidentally got C2 Shenhe as a F2P (yes it really was an accident, I was trying for Ningguang) and took it as a sign to use her and use her quite often, when using this trick (which I was) I should recognize the food immediately, right?

as someone who aggressively collects every dish in the archive, I knew all of them. Except on childe's where I went "beidou. wait no xiangling. wait no childe." I don't like childe very much
I have every single dish except ganyu's, kokomi's, shenhe's, and itto's.
I should be able to get kokomi's once I get her so yay. Gotta wait another year for ganyu's though. I either didn't log in on her birthday or just didn't get the mail.
Finally, my knowledge of collecting every single recipe, and specialty food alongside keeping the birthday letters food from each character has come to use. Just a look and I instantly knew what food from which character... I really need to touch some grass 😭✋

fx: the cat print on diona’s, the clover on klees or the leaves on kazuhas or the feathers on sara’s
Guessed all of them except Childe which is kinda funny considering he is supposed to be Russian and I am Russian so I guess I was expecting him to have some Russian common dish like Borsh

Got them all! The only one i did not know instantly was Qiqi's because i never saw it. It was a wild guess and it was a correct guess
Hoyo did a great job designing the dishes. Some of them I didn't get just because I was unfamiliar with the character, (Shenhe, Barbra, Sucrose) but as soon as it was revealed it made total sense.
Aloy, Shenhe, and Qiqi's dishes were the ones I didn't recognize
I don't pay much attention to the food because i don't have most of the characters, but I guessed almost all.
I didn't recognize Aloy, Diluc, Jean, Chongyun, Childe and Barbara.
Fischl and Zhongli's was just a guess.
Facts I didn’t get any of those except for Fischl, Chongyun, and Barbra (only because the plate had music notes and her colors)

44/45 I got them all despite not even having them, The one I didn't recognize was Barbara which I'm disappointed at cause she is my healer but overall I need grass.

A tip on guessing food is to look at the presentation and small details. Beidou has a black and red plate with a chili shaped like an anchor. Eula has a blue and white plate with her signature colors.

I got 38/45 since I didn't guest: Mona, Childe, Barbara, Albedo, Lisa, Xiangling, Chongyun, but the lumine part make me laugh XD
The only ones I knew we’re: Ganyu, Kazuha, Sara, Bennett, Gorou, Hu Tao, Jean, Kokomi, Xiangling, Yun Jin, Kaeya, Xiao, Beidou, Amber and lastly travelers emergency food.

Unironically Fischl is the most recognizable. I didn't even know she had a dish but when I saw it I was like "Nah this looks too edgy, has to be Fischl's"

I got a lot of them because I'm subscribed to this channel that makes various Genshin recipes in real life.
Most of these I could guess because there are details on them that kinda give the characters away like Diona’s, I could tell it was her because of the calico handle and klee’s because of the clover
I got beidous at the last second and I didn't count how many i got right but i definetly got a lot right mostly because of the signature stuff on the dishes😭 (the kazuha leaves on the plate, xianglings logo, ittos back ribbon, etc)
I main kazuha and I’ve never cooked his special dish idk why but I somehow guessed it! (It was pretty easy cause of the plate and the leaves)
I got them all right dispite never having seen a few of them before!
I love how it not just the design that make a special food but the food itself.
Of course Mona specialty is a salad, it cheap and something she can easily buy the ingredients for.
Of course Diona is a fish kabob.
Of COURSE Ganyu meal has healthy and simple ingredients in it.
It so cool that even if the food was not stylized to look like the character you could still figure it out if you know them well enough.
I'm honestly surprised that I got any of them wrong, but I'm not surprised that the 4 I did get wrong were the dishes of characters I don't have. Which were Eula, Zhongli, Diluc, and Qiqi. Once I get a new character, I like to make at least one of their special dish. And I collect any Genshin recipe I can get Aether's hands on. XD
I got 10.5 points, I watch food videos a lot and some of these look really good so I’ve watched videos about them and just remembered them. (The 0.5 is from Sara because I guessed it was some Electro character but not Sara)

Was doing well until Eula’s… Not my fault she didn’t come home so I never saw her special dish
i got all but two, i mostly cook food in genshin.... also the dish's design will tell you who it belongs to and if it doesnt look for a small hint in the food (like the anchor in beidou's dish)
I'm not surprised that I got all of them correct, it's just another thing to put in my "why I should touch grass" list

I got all of them correct, but that’s because I have no life and I love cooking in the game. That’s honestly my favorite part of the game, collecting recipes. I wish all games had a cooking feature, it’s always so much fun :)

So, a little fun fact I found out, and I wouldn't mind a pin for this - Mona and Fischl's dishes are German, and when translated to English, they are called the following:
Mona: Der Weishëit Letzter Schlüss (The Final Conclusion of Wisdom and Life)
Fischl: Dié Heilïge Sinfönié (The Holy Symphony)
Also, Fischl's English translation from the German title "Prinzessin der Vertèileüng" is misleading towards her dish. In English, it translates to "Princess of Condemnation". Just a little fun fact I wanna throw out there.
