I've been fascinated with the shamisen since I saw it in Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu and then in Gintama. An anime about shamisen music was something I just couldn't ignore.
And then hearing Burnout Syndromes singing the OP in ep02 was the icing on the cake😍😍😍!!!
@Beneton I've got to agree. After watching Mashiro no Oto, I can't stop hearing the sound of the shamisen in my head. Now I've downloaded an entire album of pieces by Hiromitsu Agatsuma and the Yoshida Brothers.

It's different from the anime OP. I wonder why they didn't use Setsu's seiyuu in the anime version.
I thought he did.... he even says the poem thingy in this.... so wasn't he also the one doing the "shaa"?
I thought so. The poem and the “saa” “oto” all from Setsu’s VA , shimazaki nobunaga , right? This is different than the Anime op I am pretty sure.

信長さんの方言が好きすぎて、見てる間このアニメの世界観にどっぷりだったけど、このOPがめちゃくちゃ彩ってくれてたと思う
「ましろのおと」今期のアニメで一番面白い
ＯＰ曲（銀世界も含）もＥＤ曲も本当に素晴らしい
それなのに・・・なぜ深夜2時の放送なんだ

ただでさえ、アニメ中の三味線の曲が多いのに、主人公の心情の変化につれてopまで変えるとか、どんだけ音にこだわり持って作ってるアニメやねん!!
と、思わされる作品ですね

ましろのおとをまさかアニメで再現出来るとは思わなかった、、
でもやっぱり漫画を先に読んじゃうと雪の音色が自分の想像とは違う、、、。
でもそれは再現不可能。

最近、アニメのオープンニングのミュージックビデオってそのアニメとコラボして出すこと多いけど、これは完全オリジナルでめっちゃいい

I think the opening played a role in the story, it changed when his life had changed but showing up at the end showed his reason for the journey was still the same.

The vocalist is really powerful so according to me Burnout Syndromes' anime ops are the best.
