2:53 the ambient light is really cool here
You know i just setup the DIY Ambilight today and i have been watching Transient 2 whole day !! Cant get enough of this
Do you mind sharing what video/article you used to set it up?
I guess there are no words to describe the feeling of greatness and at the same time of humbleness that this piece of art brings forth in us...
When I saw the title I said "no way" pretty much your one of the best ever, one of those hidden gems of cinematography. Amazing work, you inspire me.
This made my night! Hands down the best home theater demo for the rest of time!!! Bravo... Well done sir... Well done!!! 👏🏼
I appreciate the compliment!
The only thing missing is for the score to be in True HD Surround sound! I would say, TAKE MY MONEY!!! Beautiful work Dustin!
Best setup i have seen! Great video, listening to it with a B&W PC7 carbon edition.
I just got all the kit to set this all up can't wait
Damm it. It’s brilliant. But then again. Wasn’t expecting anything else.. great work.
Amazing combination
Best demo video for seeing ambilights

THIS! .....is my end goal with leds. B-E-AUTIF-UL!
Philips ambilight it s the best decision i made in 27 years . ❤️ . Your chanel is super cool btw. Keep up
Hi Dustin! When I showcase my Philips Hue Playbars (3 of them) and LG CX 65" OLED to friends, I always start with Transient 2!!!! Everyone is WOW'd!!! I'll find a way to send a video of it to you, too.
That'd be cool! Email is good.
Sehr stark und beeindruckend👍
OMG Dustin... AMAZING IS NOT ENUFF.... Congrats
💡⚡️🌩♥️
I was about to leave your channel and I thought: I hope you upload some new video ... and here it is! keep going forward!!
Noooooo! Don't leave!!! :) I post irregularly because I spend 1-2 years to create my videos.
@@DustinFarrell I'll stay! 😁

Used? Awesome setup dude,well done.
Can you make a step by step diy tutorial how to make it Dustin?
That is not my expertise. I would hit up Tyler's channel linked in the description.
@@DustinFarrell oh thanks
This is one of the most amazing things I've seen on TH-cam lately.
I'm using an LG UHD 7650 (55 inch) with a Chromecast, which I cast content to via Stremio. Is there a way to somehow sync this with that setup? Thanks!
buy a firestick and connect the app huelamps with youre bridge.
Menuda obra de arte
This is the only perfect channel on youtube which have no imperfect videos. Each and every video is awesome in this channel.
Love from Bangladesh🇧🇩🇧🇩(maybe you dong know my country)
wow this is so cool......excellent......I need to upgrade .....question - what lights did u use around the satellite speakers?
Que bonitooo!!!!😍👍
WOW!!!
That’s awesome! How can I get these extra Leds on both sides?
Hi Dustin! I have a similar setup and I am wondering how you managed to shut down the lights in dark scenes. My Ambilight + hue bulbs are glowing in a very slight white color - even if its completely dark. I would be really grateful for your help, thank you!
This is my setup, I use prismatik on my PC to control the lights.
Having the same issue. Did u figure this out. Sorry I know this is an old comment
@@hennyd9862 i dont know about prismatik but with hyperion i fixed this by setting the backlight threshold to 0% , when it was 5% the lights were always on even with no hdmi signal
Have the same kinda set up it's breathtaking IRL
did you make it on your own if yes do you mind sharing the article you used ??
Amazing and unique setup you are really talented guy I gonna build with hdmı grabber but I couldnt figure out how you light same colors of the bottom led and tv unit leds same time. Could you explain it I will appricaite it.
Coooool video👍👍👍

Hey. Did you used hue sync app? Can you send or show how your entertainment area looks?

Wawwwww wonderful what is your installation with Philips hue please ?
Cherry on the best favorite flavour cake 🔥👋👏👏👏👯
Is this Hue Gradient or another brand?
Original DIY build link in description
WS2812B LED’s with an ESP32 microcontroller, and WLED firmware/app
If I take philips ambilight tv and buy this hue lights, will it be working with tv apps like netflix or youtube or its only possible if you connect playstadion or laptop?
Does work on TV?
Blow my fucking mind, cooooll!!!
Avengers Endgame first trailer music, nice 👌
hey i'm looking for exactly that but don't want to spend as much as philips hue is the LED set from philips hue or what kind of one is it?
They’re inexpensive! The parts list is in my video that he linked.
👏
Amazing. Is it Philips hue or self made? It would be amazing if this would be self made. It should be an inspiration for every TV/sound factory to offer such stuff.
Self made! It’s my setup, I’m in the middle of reinstalling everything for a tutorial video.
Philips has a patent for it and other manufacturers cannot take advantage of it.
@@eclecticlight.design Is there any chance that a tutorial video or playlist will be posted anytime soon?
@@eclecticlight.design hey do you have a tutorial for this i wanted to make one for myself so wanted some guidance
how is this even possble what is needed to get this light affeft done ?
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Top...d + 🤩
Você comprou...?

Whats the name of this lightning video i would love to play this on my TV with my lights

amazing, super, wow💪. 👍710
😍
Those speakers or boxes or whatever on the sides… where can I get them
Really nice man... but was waiting for the step by step... diy
I’m currently working on it 🤘🏼
How do you set the lights to go off completely when the TV goes black? My lights stay on and still glow dimly.
I'm going to need a tutorial on how to add a diy ambient lighting to my entertainment center.
Check out my video he linked in the description, I listed everything I used and links!
❤
WHERE IS THE LINK TO THESE LIGHTS!!!!!! I LOVE THIS!!!!
I’m trying to make a how to video for this. This is my setup, hopefully I’ll have the video done this week!
@@eclecticlight.design this is really impressive. Can u give some updates about ur tutorial?
is it possible to connect my hue sync box to the ambilight already included on my tv? thank you.
Where I can order this?
How do you manage multi led imput ???
Add an extra data wire to whatever point of the main strip that you want to duplicate!
What camera did you use to film it? Is it a cell phone?
Yep
OMG 😱
What is the ambilight you use please
Better then anything on the market. How did you accomplish this setup? Any tutorials for computer illiterates?
Thank you very much! This is actually my TV and LED installation, used with Dustin’s permission.. I’m currently trying to create a how to video if you would like to subscribe! 🤘🏼⚡️
What is TV?
What is this sorcery?
Lo necesito 😱😱😱😱
Razer led?
WLED
C’est quoi le truc sur les côtés et en bas ?
I don't remember subbing to you. But it's rlly kewl
Hola buenas amigo , tengo una TV Philips ambilight si quiero añadir luces me haría falta la centralita uhe o los podría mover la TV por el USB , un saludo y gracias
I love it. What brand of lightning did you use?
Lighting is not my creation. Visit Tyler Savage's link in description.
Any ws2812b addressable LED’s will work with this setup, using WLED!
is that real or a render?
Why the simulated, small screen?
I just added it over the original that looked dark and over-saturated. Whole point of this video is to show the Ambilight effect of my video.

@@DustinFarrell I see. Makes sense👍🏼
@@tommysparks2705 I used my iPhone to record the video, and it’s hard to capture LED’s without reducing exposure, which kinda makes the TV not so pretty.
#TRANSIENT3
I love you 📢
TV brand should buy this footage for their ADs. and pay like 200k for it
I shared with Sony but never got a response :(
@@eclecticlight.design They have no idea of what they missed..!
@@cderungs5198 thank you!
Hi, I just bought the hue lamps for my ambilight, and I played the Same video. The problem is that my lamps never goes totally black like yours. Do u know why?
How do you get the lights under the TV to sync with the bottom of your TV ? I've tried everything but it read the mid screen left and right.
I spliced a data wire into the strip mid section of each vertical side, then ran those to the speakers
This is cool an all, only on a “light show” aspect, you can use these for regular tv or even a movie for the matter, you would suffer from a seizure , this is merely a weather light show in your living room, and you have to have 2 grand to do it , I’ll just sit on my porch and watch a thunder storm
This is my setup. I made this with a $5 esp32, $20 LED’s, and a $20 power supply! It’s great for certain things, and I can also make it react to music, or use over 100 animations with WLED.
@@eclecticlight.design badass
@@JPOTTGAMING thank you, it’s been fun learning about microcontrollers and LED’s!
This is VERY cool! Any DIY tutorial out there? :-)
how make it :O
damn my RGB looks weak compared to this :O
