Thanks, Steve! Yes, I'm on a bit of a hiatus on this channel because I'm working on other projects. 🙃 If the attention seems to increase again on this channel, I'll resume making videos again sooner. You may like some of my TH-cam Shorts - I did make quite a few of those here as well. Always, I appreciate your feedback and we welcome you to the community!
I like both types of video, edited and raw, because either way, your style is relaxed and approachable. I don’t even have a Ram (Ford F150 and Ford Expedition), but I still watch because I always pick up little tidbits of knowledge. And you’re funny 🙂
Thank you for the engaging comment, Jessica! And thank you for your continued support. I've got a lot to talk about, so we'll continue on this way for a bit.
Good video thanks for posting it. My sons 2010 ford fusion has a similar issue, we have replaced the alternator 3 times, battery keeps draining, and can't figure it out. Battery checks out and have had it charged by the auto parts store a few times as well and even bought a home battery charger/ maintainer, still completely stumped, because he's never had any issues with the actual starter, or with the vehicle starting until the battery drains usually within 24 hours.
Hi, Fate - thank you for your feedback! If you haven't had a good electrical auto mechanic do a parasitic draw test, that might be a really good route to go. Or you can do this yourself if you feel comfortable - there are a few good videos on TH-cam explaining how to do this. We did parasitic drain tests on mine but it never misbehaved when they were performing the tests. My root problem, or so I think so far, was that my battery choices were sub par and I just needed adequate voltage. I don't know how common of a problem this is, though. Hope this helps and looking forward to hearing how you get yours resolved.
I have a 2016 3500 and replaced batteries twice in a month. I'm scared to drive it bc I don't want to be stranded with my kids. Its lifted and oversized tires...towing will be super costly if I break down. Help!
Hi, Diana. Sorry about the delay in my response. What I do is carry around one of these amzn.to/3ziUEdv . I had to use it quite a bit before I got my problem solved and it worked every time. Just keep it charged up. Have you replaced your battery (or potentially both batteries if you have a diesel) with the genuine Mopar battery from the dealership? That's what I had to do to bring about my resolution - despite having already bought two from AutoZone.
@@BigfootDadExploresMontana Thank you for replying! I found the problem. I have AMP Research power running boards and the motor was out on one of them, which was impeding it to retract when shutting the door, thus keeping the light on and draining my battery. For now, it's unplugged until I replace the motor. 🙏 Hope this helps someone else.
Oh, dang! I hope maybe one of these items helps, but maybe the battery is the most logical place. I don't have a full explication why the new Mopar battery suddenly "fixed" the problem, especially since I run the AutoZone batteries in our other vehicles. Might be the fastest and easiest to try first, though. Good luck and would love to hear the outcome.
I don’t know how I missed your channel, but these are great vids! Subscribed!

@@DianaCadena-q7c- excellent news!! And thank you for posting your resolution. This could be the key to fixing someone else's problem too. 😎
Every winter I have issues with my batteries holding a charge. It isn’t even below 40 degrees and here we go again. Just infuriating.
We're just about into that weather so we'll see if my fix worked!
I've had to replace 2 TIPMs on my srt-10 viper truck.

Thanks!
I fixed my vampire draw issue by trading my RAM in for a FORD F-250 POWERSTROKE ! ! !
🤣 that's awesome. I'd be lying if I said I haven't considered this...
You don’t need 14 minutes to say that
Ok. 😉
