sir when an ion enters the gap both magnetic and electric field acts isnt it? when both magnetic and electric field acts on ion how can the ion travel only on influence of electric field? Is the magnetic field present in the gap?

because unlike charges attract each other. the negatively charged plate attracts the postive charge particle with some force F. since F=ma that means acceleration is produced. but v=at. that means when acceleration is produced velocity increases
sir , dees are not closed , they are open from one side so how can electric field will be zero as electric field of a closed metal is zero. oscillator gives opposite charge to dees both at a time ,means curved end of D1 is positively charged and curved end of D2 is negatively charged , also there is gap in between dees , so field lines will simply originate from positive and terminates on negative making field inside dees , but this does not happen , WHY?
Utkarsh Rathore ifever this happens , no Issue about it Cz it helps the charge to move in its original direction only ifever the dees are closed. so not a big deal
Sir!...Instead of doing this process, can't the speed of the particle be increased by increasing the temperature. As we have studied by increasing the temp. the K.E of the particle increases...And the same phenomenon can also be uses as we used in last video i.e the Metal boiling one..may be??

Sir, the time period taken in formula of T is for the radius r. But a charge only completes half circle (r/2) before the electric field is reversed. So shouldn't the frequency of oscillator be T/2 instead of T?

yash agrawal... Temperature increases kinetic energy... That means randomness... That's why particle will be difficult to handle with...
