Bro i just found your channel and now you’ve not uploaded in forever. Rip king 👑
Is he actually dead?
@@KilaKaKahighly doubt it
Well, Rivers was studying classical composition at Harvard at the time he wrote most of Pinkerton, so that would explain why there's a lot of muscial theoric stuff involved. Rivers is such a great musician!
100 percent. Brian Bell once said in an interview that Rivers' songwriting was 'a lot more complex' after returning to the band from Harvard.
Too bad this album was initially a failure before it was highly rated
These are fantastic, TH-cam needs more of these "in-depth" Weezer lessons, A+ I can't wait for more!
Thank you for watching!
I love these analysis videos! could you do one on Tragic Girl? it's my favourite weezer song and I'd love to see a good musical analysis of it
Liam Tolentino that’s an interesting song, a lot of key changes
Right on. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this.
The analysis I wanted! Yeah
Fantastic analysis, I can actually understand the theory talk in this video.
You're amazing at breaking down these songs!
This is amazing! Thanks for sharing
love the analyses. would love some more!
This is a brilliant video!
The video is great and exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you!
This was very well done and interesting. You should do more of these
Fantastic video, thank you so much for sharing your insight into the inner workings of these songs :)
Simply incredible. Your enthusiasm is contagious 🙋♂️
OMG THIS IS THE VIDEO IVE WAITED MY WHOLE LIFE FOR
Your channel is super underrated. This is such a great video!
Finally a video on one of the greatest weezer songs
Thank you for the in-depth analysis!
I've watched this multiple times and loved the way you explain the theories behind my fav Pinkerton song.
this was a very good analysis! probably the only falling for you guide I could find lol, thank you for this!
I always come back to this video. Damn, so good. Hope you get the chance to do this for Across the Sea some day.
Awesome 😎 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thank you for making this 🤙🏻
great man!
this vid deserves more views
amazing
I come back to this video, to remind myself why it's my favorite weezer song
accross the sea, superfriend and pink triangle pleaseeee
This was really awesome. You’ve got a great way of teaching and analyzing but not in an overbearing way.
you are the MESSIAH of guitar tutorials. thank you.
Let’s hope for a second coming
Very impressive breakdown for one of Weezer's best song IMO.
Awesome breakdown. I really love this song. One note/possible correction (according to the Pinkerton Tab Book, and to my ear) is at @15:34 when you say that fourth chord is A (after the E). It is actually 2 chords = C (IV) and D (V) which walks you into the G key (2nd half of the solo). I agree this song is absolute chaos with multiple layers in that section... but try it out. "Lil Ole 30-chord me"
The irony of Rivers referring to himself as "little ole three-chord me" while completely inundating us with master-class theory in this song is why I love Pinkerton. What a brilliant piece of music.
Nice video! I found it a little strange that you didnt even mention the awesome lead guitar parts during the verses and post solo though.
B sharp and Matt Sharp xD
Nice shirt
anybody else catch the 'I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams' main riff at 15:30 ?
Hey, could you do one for The Good Life?
The section of the solo into the bridge sounds really interesting musically, like a lot of stuff is going on there.
Great video! Where did you get your speaker stands?
So how many chords in this awesome, one of my favorite Weezer’s songs used?
Was convinced for years that Falling for you was one of the few songs played in regular tuning.
Hey make some more vids!!!
I swear I will. Thank you for wanting more!

Is that from a japanese radio show? Cause that’s coicidential as this album was japanese themed and about 18 yr old japanese girls.
When they were recording the transition from Pink Triangle into Falling For You, Rivers' guitar got interference with Korean radio. He later said that it was a divine intervention for the album.
