@@julrob97 I think she does and I hope she makes it and sticks. But with so few teams, and small rosters, and the salary cap it's super hard. Monika couldn't do it. First round picks get waived all the time.

Kate has a bright future in coaching. She's practically a player/coach with her teammates now sometimes referring to them as "these kids"

The end of an incredible era in Iowa women's hoops. Logic, Disterhoff, Gustafson, Doyle, CC, Mon and Mack, Kate, Gabby, etc. I'm sad to see these incredible women leave the program, and I wish the best for all of them. I'll be following all of them as best I can in the next chapters of their lives. But as a Hawks fan, I'm also pretty excited for the next phase of the team's evolution. Encouraging all Hawk fans to keep showing up and tuning in. There are several great players coming in, and several more highly-ranked recruits who are possible signees. This thing they've created is NOT over. And I'm betting Kate will be seen on the Iowa coaching staff whenever she decides her pro career is over.
We all know she's a marvelous player, but she strikes as being a superb person and that's something to cherish!
Love this kid. I have a feeling it's not the last time we've seen her on the sideline in Carver.
