Q 1. What oil Barbers use in of your videos?
A 1. The oil name is “Navratna Oil”. It’s a herbal preparation which can be found in almost all household in India. This is very good for stress. Anyone can use oil on their own. Just apply the oil on your scalp and massage gently and feel the magic. You can keep it overnight or wash your hair after an hour.

Q 2. Is there any women masseur in India?
A 2. I haven’t seen any yet. Barbershops are run by male barbers in India and females are not in the business.
Q 3. Why some barbers have long fingernails?
A 3. The long fingernails are not what it means in the western world. This all started in thousands of years ago in China. This show the social status of the person that he need not any physical labor for livelihood as long fingernails are not possible for those who do physical labor.
Q 4. About Indian head massage.
A 4. Massaging and shampooing were first practices in India and then it was introduced to the Western world in the colonial era. The word "Shampoo" first appeared in English print in 1762. It was derived from Hindi word "Champo". Champo imperative of champna "to press, knead the muscles," perhaps from Sanskrit capayati "pounds, kneads." Meaning "wash the hair" first recorded in 1860.

I'm a big fan of all your videos Santosh. For a while I've had some questions. When the barber cracks your hair and ears does it hurts when he pulls? he seems to apply a reasonable amount of force to get that cracking.
