I've just recently started back listening to John Mayer. He is my favorite guitarist, singer, song writer. This intimate setting was fantastic. I'm so adding this song to my playlist. Thank you for posting:-)
I think it is great how he jokes about not knowing a song in the beginning. John has such a great personality, and it shows through his music. What a good heart he has.
I have loved this song for a decade... the sax reminds me of vivid dreams with Steely Dan as a soundtrack... I have not heard a better version of this tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go to sleep with this as my soundtrack.
this performance is pretty amazing. the piano starting the song is perfect. and just everything. thanks for the video, i bet it was incredible to be there
Not....he kinda got his start here with a ghy named clay cook who is the guitarist for zac brown band, he was playing in atl the next evening in a big venue and stopped by the night before for an impromptu performance
Best version of this song is from Jay Leno- early him on acoustic and a piano player, song perfectly, no bullshit- it’s up on TH-cam but HORRIBLE SOUND QUALITY, it just isn’t it
Best version of Clarity
A classic signature John Mayer tune that I positively love for its beautiful positive message. He always delivers top quality
This is possibly one of the best versions I've heard of this song.
John needs to do these shows again...
So glad someone recorded this
That Sax solo at @ 4:37 is GOLD.

I went to a show at Eddies Attic a few years ago, and the place is small! Can't believe he's playing there. Would have been great to see this there!
Second coolest version I've ever heard. Only inferior to the 10 minute As/Is version.
That is the best album clearly like that. For next week for series, XM, the keyboards version and guitars. Version 2024 season.
It is all on you, Bob!
i mean it started with an arpeggio of the chorus from the piano. thanks for this.
That beat is just intoxicating.
