I can honestly say that even with all the quirks of the Philippines... It is a magical place with a magical people. I make a good Filipino at heart, I am late everywhere I go. 🤣🤣🤣 Nobody gets in a hurry. I don't know where he went that was very clean but good for him. The people of the Philippines make it awesome. It is what America used to be, a place for everyone
Thanks a lot my brother Roger❤️.. wonderful interview with the gentleman...I have also plan to retire in Philippines buddy after 55.. love from India to all of you ❤️❤️..stay safe 🙏👍
@@RogerIsmiVlogs haha..it's long time for getting retired buddy 😀 but before that I would travel to philipins many times ❤️. Definitely will gonna meet u👍
I have been in contact with Gregory, and as A Black Man, I would rely on people like Calvin and Gregory for some usable info regarding being there in the PI
Reasons for moving to Thailand 1. Low crime compared to the the United States 2. Price of living compared to the United States 3. The weather 4. More peaceful than the United States 5 people there seem more genuinely kind to each other especially compared to the United States 6. The food looks delicious 7. The outdoors 8. You can actually feel apart of a community
Wouldn't say safer or low crime because I live in a safe community in America like most Americans despite what the news portrays most of us don't commit crimes lol like the Philippines the poor and middle class commit most crimes which makes sense buy that's a minority of the people in these neighborhoods
I absolutely agree with him in this matter I know it's filipino culture , I feel like culturally we rely on one member of family who ever can support financially to help instead of individually working on building in establishing your future. But I feel like filipino's are just happy with simple life!!!
This was a great video. I myself live in the US and if possible I would like to reach out to your guest Gregory and see if we could trade ideas about living in the Philippines.
Philippines is such a nice place and less expensive for dollar earner since it stretches a lot in pesos. Just imagine for only $600 you can build a house. Too bad that guy he tried to help was not even thankful and ended up demanding for more. Sorry man sometimes people don’t even think right and taking advantage. Just right for you to leave him alone and move on. Enjoy your life and God bless you. Watching here from California. I’m a Filipina, planning to visit my home in Manila soon.
I agree. The Philippines is very low key low stress country. I came at age 45 and no regrets. I actually earn pesos here and live on my income here. It doesn't take a lot to have a great life here.
I can honestly say that I really appreciate this and info. Some day I would love to visit the Philippines. My main concern would be the weather like Hurricane/Typhoon season. But other than that, that's it. I've worked with a few people from the Philippines (Cebu) and they are real cool people, very humble and always encouraged me when I had a bad day, always had me laughing.
Typhoons and natural disasters probably shaped Filipinos the way they are now. Getting humbled by nature every now and then makes you remember what is important in life. Filipinos are very laid-back people, family oriented, accepting and religious, traits that you see in a community whenever there is a calamity.
Yeah exactly the bad side of being a filipino.. What they think about money and differences about expenses needs, wants.. Spending spending for a short happiness and material things.
I think about 50.000 for a good house .... but when you have no family it's better to buy a apartment because you can't buy a place for your house as foreigner. That is what I heard.....
I recommend buy a condo. I recommend Iloilo City it has a condo name sotogrande hotel that 2.5m plus for studio type. I have a friend own a condo for rent 30k piso or $555 a month included electric and water bill. Its in the metropolis property.
Boy this guy fell for the oldest trick in the book LOL build me a house and I won't move in until some extra stuff is put in there LOL boy you fell for it! LMAO
@@griffin2765 no he was being stupid cuz the guy started acting ungrateful at the end. Even Stevie Wonder could have saw this coming and Stevie Wonder is blind LOL

I can relate very well to what Gregory is talking about when he speaks on stress, less stress in the Philippines compared to living in the states.
NO RACIAL TENSION!!!!!!! I LOVE IT! I've been a citizen of USA ALL MY LIFE, and I can tell you EVERYTHING IS ABOUT RACE!!!!!
50 states in the USA with too many different races
@@RogerIsmiVlogswhen you come here, the subject is all about race. This vs that

Yes it was. He still keeps asking me to do more before he move in..just hilarious
Cool guy. Does he have a page or info to contact him for a few questions

Exactly, very low key.
It's one of the cleaner places from what I can see
You're right
Thanks!
Thank you brother
Don’t stop having fun. Life is too short.
Yes
Did he say he built a house for 5 - 600 dollars? ... or did I misinterpret something?
Yes because its half cement and plywood
I would move there just for all the pretty ladies...

Roger, gr8 information
Planning to come there n de-sress
Hope we meet 👍
Nice guy, but he got tired after working 17 years only? No comment!
Great interview Roger . Enjoyed this gentleman from Houston ( USA) . What is cost to build a modest 3 bedroom home in province area ?
Depends on the materials that you are going to use and the size
I think about 50.000 for a good house .... but when you have no family it's better to buy a apartment because you can't buy a place for your house as foreigner. That is what I heard.....
You cannot buy land as foreigner. You can only lease it for 25 years, extendible for another 25 years.
I recommend buy a condo. I recommend Iloilo City it has a condo name sotogrande hotel that 2.5m plus for studio type. I have a friend own a condo for rent 30k piso or $555 a month included electric and water bill. Its in the metropolis property.
Welcome to Heaven on Earth.
Where is this
i would really like to know what kind of house could he build for $500??????
half cement and half plywood
Maybe a bahay-kubo made of nipa and bamboo.
which San Carlos??🤔
Negros Occidental
Not far from Bayawan city best lechon in Negros and also you can travel to dumaguete. A lot of expats
I thought it was Mbappe at first
Footage making me dizzy, so shaky, seems like you would have better knowledge on how to film by now…. Just being honest.
Thanks anyway
