Sir I felt like I am doing practical on the concept thank you very much it's the most excellent lecture I heard 🙏, my confusion in this topic cleared .
Thanks for ur videos sir. These are very helpful. Bt sir there is one problem.aapka bola hua jb ye show hota h toh jo aap written krte h vo show ni ho pa rha thats why i m facing problem
Please, I have a question on the example y(t) = x(sint). I want to know how it is that y1(t) is equal to y2(t). I know the x(t) and output is y(t), how do we know that values of y1(t) and y2(t) ? Thank you
I have question on addition of 2 functions here. x1(t)+x2(t) -> system, are you saying the x2(t) follows x1(t) to the system, if this is true then, x1(t)+x2(t)->system->x1(sint)+x2(sint), otherwise if you are adding these 2 functions bit by bit, I don't see how you can tell the equation holds true. I appreciate clarification on this. Thanks in advance.
Isn't the law of homogenity the same as the law of additivity? The law of additivity is f(x+y) = f(x) + f(y) and the law of homogeneity is f(nx) = nf(x). Basically, you are replacing "y" with as many x's as you are multiplying. I guess the only scenario the law of additivity would not represent is if n was a decimal?
This audio to text activation disturbs very from seeing the screen. I can't see all the steps as you write them because the text on the screen blocks it.
I stopped watching the lec the moment you said that.. just completed the whole lecture. yeah, u stand correct. Thanks for pointing it out though... Peace!
I have on qs though, is there any case in which law of homogeneity is violated because everywhere in examples in the following 4 lectures, signals had been following LOH.
If you’re defining a System then output and input depend on the same variable it should be, y(t) = mx(t)+c For a System to be linear, y(t) = 0 when, x(t) = 0 This is a non linear system.
Literal lifesaver. The textbook is so confusing but these lectures are very clear and concise
you have no idea how much you are helping me with these videos, thank you so much 😊😊keep it up !

You are the BEST!! Thank you!
Hey thanks man for the infos...
Aside from the principle of superposition, is there another way to check if a system is linear or not?
Thank you so much for all the lecturers
Finally I can save a semester
what a great course! thank you.
I really appreciate that video but still a question is left.
Can we determine an input signal from given output signal? Or is it not possible
Wahoo this is the simplest way of learning. Thanks a lot
love from Vietnam
Please show an example of when not linear!

God bless you, my professor explains so badly, he wouldn't even be able to explain how to do 2+2.

Thanks a lot 😄
Thankuuuuuu sooooo much🙏🙏
Nice Video! It helps me a lot!
So you want to find out if it matters when a certain combination within a process takes place?

Just Amazing !

Whether the system y(t)= x(t) x(t-1) is linear or non linear. Please answer
Amazing, keep on posting videos! You are truly helpful..
Nice video
Did you mean sin(x(t))? In this case that would be non-linear system.
Correct, and it's quite simple to check, (sin(1) + sin(2)) - sin(1+2) is not 0 as it would be in a linear system.
Ty for explaining
but you said that, trignometric functions are non-linear?
i got clash over their
This audio to text activation disturbs very from seeing the screen. I can't see all the steps as you write them because the text on the screen blocks it.
does this mean that the law of additivity isn't always applicable? so what determines when it is?
u have to find that out tho
Can u plz solve this
which white board do you use? plz tell me

1:20 suprposition alone aint sufficient conditon. homogenity also must be followed...

sir what if an system follows the equation ...y(x)=mx+c
the equation and system is still linear but it does not follows the LOH
If you’re defining a System then output and input depend on the same variable it should be,
y(t) = mx(t)+c
For a System to be linear,
y(t) = 0

This is a non linear system.
