- This video discuss about the second step for getting immigrant visa for US. After approval of I-130 petition from USCIS, your file goes to National Visa Center (NVC). You need file your immigrant visa application DS-260 at this stage. The video also explain about NVC role and status.

What is current processing time for the complete process for i130 for spouse visa CR1 , files on 9th June 2022
It may take around 1.5-2 yrs.

If there is no email address provided to NVC you may receive the interview letter in mail.

Sir I want to know that I’m from India Punjab (Jalandhar) I got my Indian PCC on April 2nd,2022..!! Now as we know it’s December end is going on . And my DQ happened in August 13th 2022 .. should I apply For my PCC again for my Upcoming Interview???? Or not
PCC Date starts from April 2nd 2022
PCC is valid for 2 years now. So you may be fine till March 2024.

Your interview will be held in India as it is based on your country’s passport.

On 18 aug my spouse case was moved from USCIS to NVC and on 22 aug ( after 4 days ) status is showing” case was transfer to new office jurisdiction” what is meaning or next step, plz explain it
You need to wait for an email from NVC.

It depend on the type of immigrant visa applied. For IR1/CR1 it is taking 9-11 months.

Hello Sir me Selective Sevice wich registered nahi kita c and Meri citizen interview c last week and they asking a reason why you don’t register. Please help me im 26+ now , i came to USA when i was 21. Living in WASHINGTON STATE
Two ways to handle: (1) (i) You need to provide status information letter from Selective services website, (ii) your sworn affidavit that you innocently did not knew about the requirement. Even forget to register after knowing about requirement can still knowingly or willingly failure to register. (2) If it did not work then wait till you become 31 age to apply for citizenship as this requirement will not be asked to meet for males.

You can apply for your wife on green card at this time. Once you become citizen you can update status so the process will become faster.
Hi ! I have a very important question to ask please reply. For cr1 visa i have applied PCC and under purpose I’ve mentioned ‘residence permit’ and not ‘immigration purpose other than citizenship’. Please tell me if that’s right.

I was filling up my husband’s ds 260 form for cr1 category but my husband has an Indian passport where he has no last name on his passport his passport show mika singh on his given name and last name is blank I don’t know how to fill up ds 260 form as we can’t leave last name blank but on his petition with uscis i130 I put first name mika and last name singh but here have to fill according to passport in ds 260 form please suggest me

Do we need digital passport size photo or normal for interview ?
You can visit any photographer for 2x2 passport size photo, they can provide you that.

PCC is needed of applicant for visa. If you lived for more than 6 months then consulate can ask for PCC from that country as well.

@@WesternSinghFamily actually I have been told by nvc to bring all the papers at the time of interview. Which also has DS 260, Medical. But it is not written anywhere to come after doing biometric. So I'm confuse what should I do.
@@amarlama9393 Never heard about this stuff but still i will suggest you take the DS260 get the medical appointment and biometrics too . don't take risk

If it is March/April the petitioner can provide 2022 taxes as well. However a W2 or 1099 form shall be required for 2022.

We are asked to resubmit our DS260 Form as our passport / country of citizenship / work etc have changed.
We cannot edit our already submitted DS260. Do you have any solution on how to resubmit DS-260?

@Kamboj_111 I emailed the consulate and NVC. I kept on visiting the portal until I saw the option to edit ds260.

If you don’t attend the interview then your IV application shall be denied.

Yes you should have with you at interview if officer ask for it. Mostly it may not require but you can be on safer with it.

I130 approval to bad fer 7-8 months wait ?
After I-130 approval the NVC will send the visa application to complete. Once NVC DQ the file then wait tome for an interview date.
