Earlier today Ryan passed away. This song has been my favorite ever since I first heard it years ago. I wish I could’ve met him and let him know how much his music and art meant to me and all the people who found him. I hope you find peace ✌️
It breaks my heart. I shook his hand at a bar and promised I'd see him play a show that will never happen. A kind and humble and loving man that embodied his music. A friend in another dimension. He'll always be a good man.
Seeing this video made me fall apart. I can’t believe Ryan is gone and all that he could have made is now up high with him. Thanks for everything, every song and every moment they helped me through hard times, love you, Ryan! Hope you’re ok up there
I'll admit it was Hideo Kojima's new game that led me to you, but I always love discovering new music in unlikely places, and yours is the kind I really dig. :) Wonderful stuff you've got here.
I can just take Low Roar´s music as a "travel" to somewhere, to a magical, private world, somewhere especial, and I wish I can stay here for a while. Thanks for giving us an oportunity to travel with you, even if it´s just for a few minutes, thanks.
I remember when my grandfather told me how he at age 5, and his mother, went into the woods to dig up the body of my partisan great-grandfather. A few years ago I did some research for my high school project and I found out that my great-father had 4brothers and all of them were killed, only days in between. So that's why, this song/video is so important to me. Už Lietuvą, ir Lietuvos laisvę
Also my grandfather, in Italy, from 1943 to 1945 had fight against Nazist and Fascist, going in the woods and on the mountains. This song is really meanful for me too

Wow what a gorgeous video for this song.. Kind of a sad reality how pop music is so skewed these days.. Not nearly enough melancholy or heart in the going ons, makes for sadness being isolative but really it shouldn't be..

The story is about the times when people's true pure love was deadly because of the circumstances that surrounded it. Our protagonists saw it as the only thing to believe in. It's a story about Anne and Joseph's love. A different kind of love that is stronger than human's life. The film is about partisan who tries to come back to the love of his life. Lithuanian partisans used to always carry one grenade for themselves to blow below their chin in case they're surrounded with no way out. This was because of two reasons, first to avoid capture, as I said above. Second was to avoid humiliation, because the Soviets used to drag dead bodies of partisans to the streets and main squares of their hometowns and expose them like trophies, leaving them to rot there for weeks or months to break the will of resistance. But there was no point of exposing headless/faceless body. I cant imagine what their parents felt when they walked the streets every day and saw a slowly decaying body of their child..
