I think I still have my old diamond tip needle around here somewhere. Don't have the cabinet with the player in it anymore, but I remember seeing the needle relatively recently.
Last summer, an older lady was moving out of my apartment building, when my wife noticed her walking with a box to the garbage. She intercepted the box, saying her husband (me) would love to skim through it. I ended up with Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, and a bunch more. So glad I am into the nostalgia craze and own a record player!

What I will never understand is HOW technology went from vinyl to cassettes to cd... i mean cd's are just like vinyl but smaller... why did we went threw the cassettes phase... i will never understand that!
What's new? Nothing's new when everything is old in a matter of seconds? minutes? hours? days? years...? Everything gets old easily if you don't take care of anything that's new. Nothing is old if you treasure and value what is new because you love it no matter if it's old or new. From new to old, it's the seconds, minutes, hours, days and years you spend together that you love what it is for what it is, which becomes a timeless piece of memory in your heart.
It's my birthday on February the 7th and I will be 11 years old :D anyway I love your show and I would love if u would upload a video of ur show on my birthday thnx :-)
Music has become so digitalized that some people miss the experience of walking into a music shop, browsing music you wouldn't otherwise know of, and the excitement of buying and opening the new record you just bought.
I haven't tried it ! So, I can't judge but due to the modernity of iPods is what made think the opposite of what you just said ! I might be totally wrong ..
