Yep, my thoughts exactly, the signal was red and if you go over 20mph when approaching a red, TPWS kicks in and slams on the emergency brake (to try and prevent a SPAD).
Great video as always. I think the FGW HST was there because of the limitation of stock, in the time the route was made that train and the class 37's were included in the basic game and therefore they could use that as AI trains as everyone who bought it had it, nowadays it presumably has the european loco asset pack included so it can be included. However I agree it's a little bit strange... mind you they could be on loan by virgin east coast or something.....
KirkinsteinMC I do watch his videos however because my settings are so low I can't play without the HUD as I won't be able to read any speedometers. xD
Moleman978 ah... if ur looking for a good computer aswell i'd recomend building it yourself and just copying all the windows files and crap from ur current hard drive and copy it to the new one it will be much cheaper than a shop brought pc
Scotrail is an awful company they said they were getting extra carriges in Jan 2016 they got 7 class 321s from london midland and took one of the carriges off making it a 3 coach train. some scotrail stations have 7 and 8 car stop signs but they never are any 8 coach trains maybe 4 or 5 7 coach trains a day but never an 8 car and the class 314s dont even have toilets scotrail is an awful train company.
Oh you have problems. Look at Northern. Our most modern trains (apart from the class 333s which are only used on a few services that are sponsored by the WYPTE) are the 323s which were introduced back in BR days. And Merseyrail don't have toilets either, it's the same with all PEP stock (313,314,315,507,508).
I think my complaints are solely to do with me only having a laptop, and the emergency brakes annoyed me quite a bit, it is a decent route but there is no way its worth full price, at least 50% off is what I'd recommend.
He definitely didnt do a SPAD, that what activated the Emergency Brakes could be the game not registering that he pressed Q to acknowledge, which does sometimes happen if you have frame-rate problems (talking from experience i play this game with an fps 13-21 depending on route and train this happens to me often) it could also be a DvD (Drivers vigilance Device) which in a lot of trains have a high pitched sound... for example in the Javelin, but such as in the DB ICE 1,2,3,3m,T,TD when activated there is no sound since its reckoned with that the driver switches the leaver in max. 10-25 seconds intervals if not the train automatically hits the breaks... And the emergency breaks after 40 seconds... Incase the driver forgot and can release the breaks before having to reset the system. I dont know how it is with the Desario Class 380 if it has a DvD setting since i dont have it, but it is possible....
The First great western HST might be sitting there instead of the first transpinee express class 350 or 185 which runs down to Manchester airport
It could be :)
LOL a First Great Western at Glasgow, they only go as far north as South Wales...
" Most places go somewhere "
Moleman978
Emergency Brake looks like TPWS ;)
This route could have done with being longer, like go down to Ayr. Travelled between Ayr and Glasgow a few times on holidays.
Ye I live in Ayr
I think the Emergency Brakes went off at the beginning was because of the TPWS, you was approaching a Red signal too fast
Yep, my thoughts exactly, the signal was red and if you go over 20mph when approaching a red, TPWS kicks in and slams on the emergency brake (to try and prevent a SPAD).

The FGW train could have just been leased to East coast etc, after all they do have an EMT set on lease too ;) good video :)
That First great western should not of been there at all, they dont even go up past Birmingham.
DA=Derailment Ahead. Cuz that is all that route is good for. :-D
Actually, the route played on a fairly high graphics settings is still just as bare and barren.
I have been on that train Edinburgh to Helensburgh the Service is scotrail
Yes! Finally you are driving the class 380
Emergancy brakes possibly went of bexause you passed over tpws over 20 mph. Thats what i think anyways
Moleman987 is master of indeed
Is it just me or is non of the crash compilations apart the 5 one?
When you switched cabs at 22:00, you left brakes on the other cab
That doesn't really matter in TS2015.
Glasgow central is part of WCML North.
There is a non stop bus service between Glasgow central and Glasgow airport
The DA means down Ayr not down airport
38 units were built with 22 of them being 3 car (380/0) and 16 of them being 4 car (380/1) built between 2009-2011 :)
you should also watch PTGRail if you need to learn some routes
KirkinsteinMC I do watch his videos however because my settings are so low I can't play without the HUD as I won't be able to read any speedometers. xD

Great video. Does this engine come with the route. Matt
Yes the class 380 does come with it, the train is also available separately if you don't want the route.

Regarding your complaints with the route, would you recommend it, and for what price do you think it's worth?
I think my complaints are solely to do with me only having a laptop, and the emergency brakes annoyed me quite a bit, it is a decent route but there is no way its worth full price, at least 50% off is what I'd recommend.
There are 16 380/1 and 22 380/0
There are nearly 50 class 380s
I go to Glasgow central all the tie and I have never seen a great western train there !?!?
First Great Western don't operate in Scotland!
Awesome
The FGW HST might be because First were almost awarded the franchise in 2012 and this is a what if route
Yeah!
It was there because the route was poorly made and there was a genuine oversight when they made the scenarios.
You done a SPAD, that's why the emgerancy brake went off, indeed ;)
No I didn't, a SPAD would have ended the scenario, I think I was going too fast and the TPWS went off.
