Nice find! I’ve never seen this one before. It has the original opening and closing and bumpers which were completely different than what you see on later airings. By around 1959 or 1960, the opening and closing sequences as well as the bumpers were done by Gene Deitch where it remained until it went to color in 1965 for the show’s final season, and on WPIX-TV (channel 11) in NYC in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s for reruns where it kept the later opening and closings intact, but not this one. After it was aired on channel 11, they ran an educational short series called “The Most Important Person” to fill in the gap. I used to watch it since I was a baby.
That one character that got into hot water in 1987 as he sniffed a flower.
NOICE find, tho! That song in the beginning is possibly going to be stuck in my head for like 30 mins for so.

"see post's other great series "The Ruff and Reddy Show" on another network! Dont miss "The Jack Benny Program"-Sundays on the CBS Television Network!"
I sure never got any of that when reruns of Mighty Mouse Playhouse was shown on WPIX-TV 11. In fact, it was a lot less enjoyable than its original broadcast on CBS. Mighty Mouse got to speak a lot less when his reruns moved to PIX 11 and trust me. It wasn’t much fun😐
Lever Brothers sponsored Jack Benny from 1959-1962. General Foods, post/tang/sanka and other brands, sponsored JB from 1962-1964. The Ann Southern Show sponsored by GF during the series.
This is great!
Also, I think Johnson's Wax also presented Ms. Southern's show on alternate weeks.
0:20 why Mighty Mouse has no legs
open matte safe-guarding - though this camera man is not tight enough with the shot lol
Do you have Mighty Mouse & The Mighty Heores?
everything on the channel is all i have at any given moment. currently, I'm working on making an interactive catalog so people know what exactly is in here.
