Hans zimmer cooked with both General Zod Theme and Superman's theme. MOS has the best modern day rendition of Superman theme that stands out on its own from the Goated John Williams score.
i'd argue it also has the best modern version of superman, in the way that it depicts society "accurately" with all the politics and stuff. The moral questions of whether Superman should exist or not throughout MoS and BvS are incredibly interesting and this version of Superman goes super well with it. I have no doubt the new one will be great too and it will be cool to re-discover a brighter Supes on screen, but i think i'll still have something for the darker realistic Supes from the DCEU
