if you are talking about profile surfaces, we use Profile projector to check it visually or CMM for accurate measurement

true shape is theoretical shape derived from cad, practically that shape can not be achieved so give profile tolerance

You have to specify unilaterally or unequally disposed modifier to know that

Have a question. In case when profile of surface 0.1unequal0. 0 what is the meaning? Does it still may go in and out of material by 0.05?
when then second tolerance after the modifier is 0, we must read the symbol as unilateral disposed outside. So the deviation of 0.1 is outside
sir , profile on line applies only inside the profile or else we can apply on both side of profile??
profile of a line is used mostly with equally disposed tolerance, however unilaterally inside, or outside or unequally disposed is also possible
