Ashanti is blending in with the times with that Say Less song. There is no feeling and story telling in that song.
NotyNoty I agree it’s blending in. But I feel as though if she released things that we would associate with Ashanti, it wouldn’t resonate with today’s generation. Young people these days are quick to call someone washed up, irrelevant, and out of date. And I’m 22 saying this. So I see why she took the modern approach. I don’t care for it though. But I don’t see how it’s benefitting her because her core fans are thrown off by it.
Yeah, that's the thing. It's pointless to try to keep up with this new era because they're not paying attention to her new music and neither are her day one's. At least if she do traditional Ashanti, the old fans will support her.
