Nelly was already in the Laffy Taffy lane so what was he talking about. Ashanti is blending in with the times with that Say Less song. There is no feeling and story telling in that song.

Young people these days are quick to call someone washed up, irrelevant, and out of date. And I’m 22 saying this. So I see why she took the modern approach. I don’t care for it though. But I don’t see how it’s benefitting her because her core fans are thrown off by it.
Yeah, that's the thing. It's pointless to try to keep up with this new era because they're not paying attention to her new music and neither are her day one's. At least if she do traditional Ashanti, the old fans will support her.
