The only thing that I didn't like about this story is that wretched, hateful, evil person had years to wreck havoc on so many and even killed the King and his wife. Yet her end of terror only ended with a slap on her wrist. She deserved much more than "becoming" mad. She was already that, that was no punishment. In fact, her "running mad" released her from having to live with the misery of losing everything her greedy heart desired. No she should have remained conscious to experience the pain that she heaped on all those people to feel every bit of the agony they felt because of her.
