- In this Part 2 video we cover more details of this ex PRR flanger, including tracking down and verifying who currently owns it, and a bit more on the history of PRR's home made flangers.
I also discuss 'abandoned' rail cars in general, introducing a scale for 'should it be saved?' Not everything can be preserved, so what should make the cut? This is just my take on it, that I'll refer back to in upcoming videos.
Meanwhile, if you want to help preserve a flanger that's in good hands, check out what the Phillipsburg Railroad Historians are up to with their ex LH&R/NYO&W car: www.prrh.org/
your channe is underrated imo
I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this :)
Then it comes a follow-up video scrying for information even sharing information not just about the train itself but everything that surrounds it...I absolutely love this. I do hope this is standard stuff that you do,...this is precious stuff these days when everything is made to be as boring and unsavory as it can be.
Please keep doing this stuff!
I intend to keep cranking them out, though slowly because every time I think I can do them often, something comes along in life to consume my time. With some luck I'll get another one out this month.
I like to research and validate everything as far as I can take it. I'm always baffled by these other channels where they just throw random clips online and don't tell you what you're looking at-or worse, they give completely wrong information.
Call me crazy but I want a smart engaged audience.
@ltvsquad i understand this completely, my past year was filled with troubles with health decay of my dad! Had to take care of literally everything for him, since he became dependent on me to do everything! My only distraction is watching stuff on youtube 😅.
I hope things get better for you and I'm curious about the next video.
@@kMitsukai Oooooh, that's a challenge for sure. Sometimes there's just never enough time to take care of everyone and still get things done.
Next videos will probably cover the former railroad at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, though I'm also itching to get one out about a mysterious set of rail cars in the woods north of NYC.
@@ltvsquad true story.
Well...that seems promising! Good things to come. 👍🏻
Another great video... Definitely enjoy the content
Danke - This two part set took more time than I'd like, definitely itching to move on to the next one.
