@@Finngon No, it's kind of a secret. But you can't do it unless you master all the other techniques. As long as I remember, It's nothing too special, it's just the counter attack technique without having to actually counter any attack.

The first attack of Lasting Wound goes through shields. Crescent Stroke is fully invulnerable until the very end. Helmsplitter ignores shields. Sanjiegun has a special burst if you hit the enemy with the tip (the sweet spot)
It's sucks that not all the weapons have specials. Like the stronger weapons especially, you grind to get them just to lose the cool technique abilities
There's a secret technique for the Valkyrie Sword, obtained after mastering ALL the other skills. And it's the only one that can be done mid air. Just press ↓↓ + attack, and it's the same animation as a succesful parry. Even gets a few frames of invincibility and it's very fast.
did you mean the only tech which can be done mid air for sword type or all types of weapon? Since you can use both boot techniques and throwing dagger technique mid air

It takes time to get used to on keyboard, but I'm getting it done. Best tip I can give is to be patient, and finish the motion first (you can even hold the left/right arrow at the end before you press the attack button). You are given a fair amount of time to do the motion
Eternal Blue doesn't have weapon techniques. It's specifically designed for a specific weapon. Check the name of the move, then get the corresponding weapon to use it.
I get that the fighting game inputs are a Castlevania series staple, but they should have included a simpler method to do these for those of us who lack the finger dexterity.

First they're only available for the listed weapon. After you master the technique, then it'll be available for all weapons of that type.

Issue is, if I try to take it slow, I end up triggering the first hit and resetting the combo instead of completing the full combo.

the best katana moves are the simplest: down-down+attack and foward-back-foward-attack. The rest are basic or too situational to use.
