It's STU!!!!! What a treat, a patriarch of modern P&W
I have been waiting for a tutorial for this song for sooooooooooooo long! Thank you for putting this out, it is soo good!
so cool ,Was great running into you At the grove concert at the break, thanks for your tips and insights, blessings to you
This is great Stu! Probably Michael's best ballad! Anyone who can mimic Dan Huffs playing is exceptional ( you also make me smile with your brilliant way of teaching guitar!) Cheers, Stephen from Scotland
Great to hear someone still actually "playing" instead of the Alt-rock style "Learn to strum only 4 power chords and you too can be a rock star" guitar ists we've had to endure since the Alt-rock/Nu-rock/Indie rock era came into being in the 90's. Sorry folks... not trying to be rude or musically-judgmental. But music was meant to progress, not regress and then stagnate... eventually settling into mediocrity.
Thanks, Stu... you're very humble but you did a wonderful job with the great Dan Huff's original solo. It was a pleasure knowing at least some "players" wish to continue the progression of an era that saw some of the greatest rock/pop guitarists in musical history. If the 90's had not killed that (guitar wise) I cannot imagine the music we would have been subjected to after the 80's/early 90's era.
Doesn't matter whether it be worship or secular music, all talent comes from God... and God neither regresses nor stagnates! 😛
My Dear God in Heaven... thank you for Michael W. Smith, thank you for players like Dan Huff, and thank you now for those such as Stu G. Keep playing and honing your talent, Stu G. Learning and progressing should NEVER stop, at any age or era!
Great guitar playing!!! 🎸
Awesome !
Nice !
If that’s what Stu G calls a “flub,” he’ll have some choice words for my “flubs”!
You rock
❤🙌
could you do the guitar solo of the song by michael w smith (lamu)
This was great! Thanks so much!
Is the original recording slightly sped up? It doesn't sound right when I play a B to start
Who else is rewinding at 7:05 a lot?
I have an ampero. Why only for the helix. It's pretty expensive....
Helix users are a much larger demographic
Check out my version of the solo 🙂
Not as good as Dan Huff but who is?
Wow $15 for one rig for this song? Nah
