Great respect to you for this reaction👍. For us Poles, Sabaton does a great job teaching real history around the world. Our proud nation was very badly hit by the massacre of World War II, but the belief that our amazing, beautiful motherland could be free was very strong. Unfortunately, many foreign media incorrectly mention Polish concentration camps😖. It must be repeated each time that these were German camps in occupied Poland. All this must be kept in mind because there is a very fine line between populism and fascism. Radicals are screaming louder and louder, and the words of irresponsible politicians can do a lot of damage. Greetings from Poland !!! 🇵🇱🤘

Have you seen the sabaton history episode for resist and bite (or heard the song)? Its mostly about the fifth company of the Chasseurs Ardennais who held off the German invasion of Belgium; 40 men holding out for 18 days against the brunt German offensive. The survivors then surrendering after, and only after, they had expended every last bullet, and had been completely surrounded.

I recommend you go to the Avalon Project at Yale University and read the Wannssee Protocols. They are the actual plans for the Final Solution as recorded by NAZIs in 1942

This might be their most important song to date. Possibly ever.
    We must never forget

Some songs are simply timeless. This song will have as much an impact now as it will in fifty years much like Zombie by The Cranberries.

One of my most favourite pieces of music. Calling this a song isn't correct as it's more than that. It's a tribute. It's a remembrance. It's a story. It's a warning.

The most terrifying thing about them was not that they were monsters, but that they were men.

Of of the most saddest things is that there are still people out there who deny that any of the Holocaust happend

I haven't gotten to go to the main museum yet but I have been to The Holocaust Museum in D.C; what hit me the most was the "shoe room"... that tickle in the back of the throat... that moment you read the placard and realize these are some of the real shoes, on loan from THE museum... that that slightly dusty feeling and hint of ash isn't your imagination but what's left of people 80 years dead... that was what hit me the hardest

Imagine if history teachers played Sabaton for their students to introduce new topics, showing them Sabaton history to go deeper and then give their assignments. How many more would be history buffs today? :-)

I read a book about Hitler and he had an uncanny ability to pick up what would trigger the crowds and rile them to his cause, to bad he did not stick to painting.

Bravo guys on the reaction. A very difficult part of human history but the lesson is there to future generations, hope they heed it. Sabaton handles this very well, both the song itself and the history.

Antisemitism is deeply rooted in European Christianity. Pogroms happened for hundreds of years.

16:40 I have one objection to this statement.
Europe has fundamentally changed in the decades after WW2.
Sadly I've not seen that same change in most other continents, I guess I could be biased though.

Very heavy song and story, but an important one, as like they say "those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
On a lighter note here's a song request to check out: Whispers in the Dark by Skillet. th-cam.com/video/B58OBfM-8A4/w-d-xo.html

I have so much respect for the band, I can only imagine the strength it had to take to research and write the song, the fact that the Vocalist is German is also important and impowering, and after learning that everytime the singer is performing, he cries is so moving and impowering , he is not proud about the subject of the song has happened , but hes singing it as a warning to not let it happen again.

13:35 Why are you silent and do not say that the Jews were also kapo.
Why are you overlooking the truth. Censorship. Don't be afraid of the Khazars.
