You get all the cool stuff! If I pick up Titanic it'll probably be more for the extras than the movie itself. I'll bet Cameron geeks out. Have a good one.
Hi Steve. Yep, I'm all in for the extras on Titanic. The movie is one of Kelly's favorites so you know I had to snag the review copy. I mean, she does put up with all my nonsense. 😂😂😂 I'm so looking forward to the other Cameron releases this spring. Thanks so much for watching. 👋😄🍿
With you loving Clue have you seen Murder By Death (1976)? It's basically the same plot, but involves parody versions of classic mystery novel dectectives and has an all star cast. I prefer it over Clue. Fun Fact: Eileen Brennan is in both movies.
Yes!!! Love Murder By Death. It's another fun one. I actually brought it upstairs to do a double feature with, Clue. How did I not realize Eileen Brennan is in both movies? Maybe I did and forgot but thanks so much for the reminder/fun fact. 😄 Thanks so much for checking out the video, too. I really do appreciate it. 👋👋🍿
Big fan of Das Boot. There are so many fun submarine movies and people look at me like I'm nuts when I say I always enjoy them. Thanks so much for watching and the recommendation. I really appreciate it. 👋🍿😄
Christopher Lee as Dracula is certainly exciting to me. I am privileged to have Mr. Lee’s autograph. What a personality! If you like submarines, have you seen Below? Such a great haul! I wanted to also let you know or see if you have heard of the film: The Beehive 2023. I have heard so much good about it but can’t find anywhere to see it. It has a teaser on TH-cam. It seems to be an alien invasion film. I love independent film. This one looks super creepy. Prayers for you and your family. I want you to know that I truly enjoy your content and look forward to your videos!
You are so very kind. Thank you for the lovely words for my family. It truly is appreciated. That's awesome that you have Christopher Lee's autograph. I think he's such a head Dracula and even if the movie itself isn't always the best, he's just so good in the role. I'll have to check into the sub movie you mentioned as well as Beehive. I haven't heard anything about that but I also love indie films. I'll mention anything I'm able to find out. Thanks so much for watching and for your very kind thoughts. 👋👋😄🍿
I picked up EO too and I’m really looking forward to checking it out. I think my family is giving me that Criterion edition of Pinocchio for Christmas and I CANNOT wait to see it! Amazing pick ups Stephanie! Thanks for showing us what titles you’ve added to your collection recently, I love learning about films and releases I had no idea about.
Hey Jon. Hopefully if you do get Pinocchio, your discs won't fly out all over the floor. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not big on the way they did the nose; I worry it could rip off easily. Hope not though. It's such an awesome retelling of a classic. EO was high on my list and I'm loving that they started the Janus Classics line. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they bring to that part of the collection. Thanks so much for checking out the video and hopefully there was nothing that needed to go on your wishlist. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 You're the best.
Hi friend and welcome. I'm so happy you doing the channel and are enjoying the content. I cover all genres so if there's ever anything you're interested in hearing about, please feel free to drop it in the comments. I'm looking forward to chatting movies with you. Thanks so much for checking out the video. 😄👋🍿
Oh I am. But I think that's what makes me more interested in the sub movies. I'm so weird like that. I would NEVER go in a submarine but watching crazy things happen in one is interesting. There's a retired sub by where my brother lives and the family went on the tour. Guess who stayed on the dock?? 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks so much for watching. 🍿😄👋👋
Hi Stephanie. Great haul video. Love that Stephen King box set! I am so happy you recommended The Mist to me this year, it's a new favorite. I'm really interested to see Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and it's now higher on my list thanks to your thoughts and showcase of the film. I like Drag Me To Hell too, a good horror film I remember seeing years ago. Wow, that release of The Terror looks great and also the Severin release of Dracula (love the packaging and extra features). It's another good year to be a physical media collector. Thanks for sharing your haul. Talk to you soon. 😀❄🥶🍩🥸
Hey Dave. I really thought hard about the Stephen King set but it was so tough to pass on. I'm so happy you enjoyed The Mist, and on a year when they did a fantastic release too. I think you'll really enjoy Pinocchio. He did such a great job with it and I honestly can't understand the hate it's getting. It's been a stellar year for physical media. I'm almost afraid to see what 2024 has in store for us. 💸💸🤣🤣 Chat with you soon and thanks so much for watching. 🥸🚶♂️🥶❄️🥧🍩🍩🍩🦖🦖
Hi Stephanie! Another great video. So many awesome movies in this haul. I would love to see your review of the Stephen King box set. I am interested in your thoughts of Riding the Bullet the most. I would love to get the 4K of Color Purple, but am bummed because they don't include the blu-ray. I am tempted to pick up the digi-book on Amazon of just the blu-ray for now. The Wailing keeps popping up and I have to do more research on that title, but would enjoy your review, when you get to it. As for Pinocchio, I LOVED that movie when it came out on Netflix. Such a cool animation style, and such a painstakingly slow way to film. I watched a lot of interviews with Guillermo Del Toro, and he was so genuinely into this movie and into the characters, how could you not enjoy watching it? I would love to see the Criterion touch with the special features and maybe behind the scenes. I have to see what special features are on the 4K (if any), but I would love to add this to my collection. Thank you again, and I am looking forward to the rest of this week's menu of videos from you. Thank you for all the content you have been providing! :)
Hey my friend. I'll definitely talk more about the Stephen King set when I've gone through all the movies. I can't stand they they no longer include the Blu-ray disc with most 4K releases. It's a tough call to decide which one to get. As for The Wailing. It's an awesome Korean Folk Horror Movie about murders taking place in a village after people seem to be coming down with a strange virus. I talked about it in my Japanese and Korean Horror Movies back in October. It's really good though, if you like that kind of thing. It's a favorite of mine. I'm with you about the Pinocchio release. I love his vision and he's such a talented film maker. Thanks so much for watching and I'm so happy you're enjoying the content on the channel. 😄👋👋🍿
Without A doubt. I'll have to get back to you on the sound mixing and see if they did anything new. I would think maybe since it's now a 4K upgrade. Thanks so much for watching. 😄🍿👋
Hey friend. I actually watched it while the video was editing and uploading. Just finished it and I really enjoyed it. Definitely deserves so much more attention. I'll be talking about it in future videos. Thanks so much for watching. 😄👋👋🍿
Thanks so much. Below is definitely a fun one that not many people talk about. Thanks for bringing it up. Maybe I'll do a video about the best submarine movies. You never know. Thanks so much for watching. 😄👋🍿

I have the same shirt 😁 Nice little gimmick of the playing cards in Young Guns. It was a tough pick, but I went with the slip on it. That Point Break steelbook has kind of grown on me. I may need to get it. I love Stand By Me, but not a fan of that artwork. Prefer the original dvd art or the 4k case art. Lots of beautiful boxsets. I love submarine films. I think we need more of them. My cousin actually plays Rabbit in the film. He's the missile guy. Good movie. Amazing pickups Stephanie!
Hey Miranda. That's so cool about your cousin. I agree with you that we need more submarine movies. I'm thinking we need a great horror sub movie. 👀 I was surprised when I saw the playing cards in the Steelbook. They've never added anything like that before so it was cool to see. I really want Tombstone to get a nice Steelbook release. Thanks so much for watching and hope all is well with you. 😄👋🍿

Fabulous haul! Especially like that Umbrella Limited box set of Talk to Me. I got the same type of Umbrella limited box set for A Tale of Two Sisters and I love it. I don’t think I ever saw Stigmata, so I’m adding it to my next order. I did watch EO -Not at all what I expected. Also not going to spoil anything so I’ll just stop there. FYI, I heard the difference between the slip and the new steelbook release of Stand By Me is the addition of Dolby Vision. i ❤️ sub movies- almost snagged that one. Do let us know about it.
Hey Mary. The boxset addiction is the real deal these days. They're just so cool and they put great little extras in there. I think you'll like Stigmata. It's different but in a good way. I have EO ready to roll this week. Kelly is so sick so all we've been doing is watching movies. We watched Killers Of The Flower Moon today, loved it. Just so well done even for a 3 1/2 hr movie. I saw it in the cinema (was there alone) and it was an experience! It's really cool, not your typical documentary, it's more like an art presentation(?)
Hey friend. I really enjoyed Moonage Daydream. I talked about it in my recent Criterion Haul video if you want to hear more details. Definitely not your typical documentary. Very artistic and unconventional but effective. There's random clips of interviews, performances, his art, acting, etc. Really well done and the Criterion 4K is a very cool presentation.
