These past 2-3 years of me being subscribed to you never disappoints!! I agree that them having a calmer title track can work. My very first SVT comeback when I first stanned them was their Atacca album! And “Rock With You” will always be my favorite song! On the other hand, SVT's producer is Woozi, who also follows many Western idols. I think this SVT song definitely doesn't sound different to me. Please check the credits. They make their own songs. Both the mv and the lyrics seem very connected to the fact that this is Seventeen's first comeback where they will actually be missing a member in the promotions, since Jeonghan (the blond guy in the first scene) was the first member of seventeen to go to the military. he enlisted at the end of last month, but pre-recorded this comeback, however, he obviously won't be able to promote with them. in the mv, he is never with the other members, even in the choreography and in the "whole team" scene you mentioned, and woozi seems to be calling him from afar in another scene after ignoring the talk show to answer his call. also, another member, jun, will be focusing on acting in china , so will also miss some events etc. so seventeen won't be a full group again for a while since their maknae was born in 1999 and therefore doesn't need to enlist until 2029, and I think only 4 members are exempt from the military service? because some foreigner + s.coups suffered a serious injury that exempted him. For the record, Woozi is the main producer... Another masterpiece album from Woozi. it's giving me 90's boy band vibes. Very SATISFIED.♥👑.
i enjoy how chill it is too!! i really thought i was going to dislike it based off of the teasers but their melodies are extremely good and always stand out. the woozi eargasm element from their songs remains noticeable
strongly agree with the bside vibe.. usually i like the bside more than title.but in this EP.. the title is the one i like more.. this will be on repeat everyday
true, i watched several reactors thought said this is too bland, not kpop enough, not too dancey, not enough rap, very western and not so svt. lol i do like this song since the highlight medley and already vibing since the first reveal on their tour yesterday. but i feel like it's a song that only carats who knows svt colors will appreciate the song better, not just casual listener.
The one time SVT make a really western sounding old school title track and all of a sudden it’s too boring, doesn’t sound like a svt song, too safe or not even K-pop… also I love all the reactors who laugh and go along with the DJ Khaled memes instead of pulling faces when they see him 💀
