Hi Sue! The plastic cat toys are made to resemble my Bowie's favorite toys ever...the ring off the milk carton! The little tab part is where you'd pull to remove it from the jug. I don't know where he got the first one, because I always threw them away, but once he did, he got every one from then on. He took them everywhere with him. I would always find them in the weirdest places.
