They’ve been around for a long time so they’ve eventually evolved their sound plenty of times. They sound more metal now. The first album is raw. The second album ( that has Denial and Waffle) through their fourth album has a poppy, hip hop, in the pocket rock vibe. FYI

Bitch or Black, definitely the two songs that anyone should hear when getting into Sevendust. Bitch is off the first album and some people like it because of the time frame but honestly it's one of their worst songs ever. I'd recommend something like Forever Dead or Dirty. Those really show some nice drumming and their newer sound.
