Kalin Bennett Is the first autistic athlete to get a division 1 basketball scholarship! Doctors told him he'd never be able to walk but Kalin has overcome everything in his way. He is at Link Year Prep fulfilling his dreams.
Peep Kalin's incredible story as he becomes a hero for all disabled athletes. His attitude was incredible and has seriously inspired the whole Overtime team.
We really loved meeting Kalin and his mother as they took us through their journey to get Kalin where he is today. Mad respect for this young man, keep pushing to be the GREATEST!

I know you mean well, but that's like saying: "I wouldn't know you were in a wheelchair." To someone who is clearly in a wheelchair and is struggling to open the door. It invalidates what he goes through. I can't even tell potential employers I have autism or they won't hire me. I tried to use my disability as an "inspiration", during an interview, and my interview immediately went south. But again I know you guys meant well- Having an invisible disability sucks and I probably would say the same thing if I weren't autistic myself. Thank you for understanding :)

My 5 year old may have Autism and I was just trying to find ways to cope with that fact. Because of this video I am going to raise my son knowing that it does not define who he is.
