And they have to be engaged to keep their family's blood pure. kaname and yuki's parents were siblings also but they were murderd, The mother tranformed yuki into a human to have a better future but she had to sacrafice her life to do so. anyways..

Actually they are. The headmaster adopted them both. So legally you could say yes, and by blood relation they are not related at all...
