Every year, The Salvation Army holds a carol concert at the Royal Albert Hall. If you live close to London, it’s possible you have attended one and you ‘ll know what a fantastic, uplifting event it is. For many people, the carol service is a high point in the lead up to Christmas. Sadly this year, because of restrictions, we can’t hold our event at the Royal Albert Hall, but because we are always solutions driven, it is an opportunity for us to bring the concert to you in your own home!
We have some celebrity readers and participants and of course our top brass band and songsters to bring the joy, the message and the meaning of Christmas to you, at home.

This year 2020 we all are out of touch but bounded together with divine love. But seperation, pain of pendemic, starvation, deaths, burial without church rituals. No jobs, no money in hand but lord Jesus love of birth where he born in manger without clothes, no hospitals, labour pain, birth of miracle, star, angels, shepherd's etc. Great Xmas.
The Salvation Army band, have the most unique, and distinctive sound. As a child my Christmas highlights, were the playing of the local band outside my Grandmother's house, when she was physically no longer able to attend the Hall. A true Salvationist throughout her life. Then the gathering for the carol service. Where friends, and family came together, and enjoyed fellowship. A joyous celebration in song, and a catch up chat, over a mince pie, and cup of tea afterwards. The unwavering, steadfast service the S.A provide is wonderful. Hallelujah.
my great grandmother Annie was a captain with the salvation army and i hold dear to my heart; her bible (which is over 100 years old) and i read it and also her other little books that she used practicing her faith and helping others. though i don't attend church, i follow God's word and i want to thank all of the salvation army for the amazing work they do, God bless you all

I originate from yorkshire uk and my childhood memories of my parents taking me to Otley west yorkshire to listen to the Salvation Army carol service . We would stand at the Buttercross on the market square and join in the singing.
A lovely start to the christmas season and the celebration of the birth of the baby jesus.
It always brings a little tear to my eyes when i think back to those days.
The wonderful work the salvation Army did for the community and still do in the town to this day.
They will always have a special place in my heart.

What has touched me the most is not the music, as beautiful as it has been; it is the prayers and time in God's Word. I too am a believer in Jesus. When you opened with prayer, I had tears of joy in my eyes!

Thank You Salvation Army for your wonderful music & the way you care for the homeless & hungry. When u was in primary school in CT SA. We had nothing to eat. My Mom went to another organization & they turned her away. She went to the Salvation Army & they were very kind to her. They gave her vouchers every end of the month which kept us fed. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I know your organization brings a smile to Gods face.

BEAUTIFUL!! I love The Salvation Army!! When my uncles were serving overseas during WWII, they often sang praises for the things The Salvation Army did for the soldiers. I am forever grateful!!

Great Christmas concert. I don't care for the more 'secular' Christmas concerts which abound in today's day and age. It's so 'smashing' and 'lovely' to see a concert available on youtube that is more "Christ" oriented and caters towards more "traditional" Christmas songs, etc.

I remember as a child, seeing two people in their uniform with bonnet hat going into the local pubs collecting £ carrying their donation boxes , they were always respected by all no matter how drunk some people where love & respect was shown people watching their language & all donating as soon as they left the pub guard was down , the thing is how much love & respect was shown on the streets too 💖 I carry the same love towards the Salvation Army. Friendship shown to all is breathtakingly humble. God Bless.
One year many years ago my young sister had died at just 27, it was christmas time a year after and on Oxford street London the Salvation Army where playing christmas music, i stood for a good hour and it brought me such peace and also the story of christmas was very much alive. As we all know this year has brought us so much pain and sadness, what ever you do this christmas time i wish you all the blessings and hope this season brings, and lets hope the new year ahead the light of hope shines on all our lives. Thank for this program. Over sixty+ years ago a Salvation Army captain returned her new shoes and got a refund and bought me special orthopaedic shoes I needed for my feet. Though as a small child I didn’t appreciate them, I have never forgotten her sacrifice and kindness to me and my family. She shared Jesus with us. Some of my family came to know Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

A beautiful charity who really helps all in life to make their lives bearable, I always donate a few times a year their work is done in with such caring ❤ compassion ❤ non Judgemental & no barriers. Thank you to the Salvation Army for this wonderful presentation. I was particularly impacted by the singing of Hark the Herald Angels Sing... the opening by Her Majesty's band was regal... and then to see all the people join in singing, it was a wonderful picture of our future - when we together will be glorifying God together in praise and worship of our True Majesty King of Kings.
