From our future overlord, Google's AI: In Michigan, making a U-turn on a street within a business district is generally considered illegal, as local ordinances often adopt Rule 434 of the Uniform Traffic Code which prohibits such maneuvers on business streets unless clearly marked otherwise; meaning you cannot make a U-turn on most business streets without risking a ticket. FSD on my Y AI4 drives just fine. I have two navigation trials that have been wrong since 12. There is a roundabout that I’m supposed to take the first exit upon entry. What it does is passes that up goes to the second exit goes down two streets and does a U-turn and comes back and turns where it should’ve gone in the first place.
Where I live, the U-turn was fine from there as long as you give way to all traffic- which I believe that it did? Sorry to hear you’ve had the flu- there are certainly some nasty 😷 ones around. I nearly ended up in hospital with flu, and then pneumonia earlier this year.
first of all, I hope you get well soon, its not fun to be sick on the holidays. The part about ignoring the speed limit signs, I see that all the time here in Europe. it shows the correct speed limit signs but just doesn't update for some reason. I hope that Tesla will fix that soon.
How did you get your map to tilt (like at 3:59 on the right)? I just got 13.2.2 in my Model Y and tried two fingers on the screen then moved them up/down (like Apple Maps) but no dice. Keep up the great work. Thanks.

1. its not illegal to do a uturn in michigan unless otherwise posted. Not sure if the entrace to private party changes that. 2. pulling into the turning lane and traveling IS illegal. heh
Some states, like California, Texas, NY: while U-turns are generally legal, making a U-turn on a business street is considered illegal if you are not doing so at a designated intersection; meaning you cannot make a U-turn in the middle of a business street, you must turn around at a proper intersection to avoid a violation.

Got 13.2.2 ... blown TF away!!! First drives I have ever had with zero interactions, literally foot flat on the floor and never felt I needed to lift it. And I'm not talking a 5 min drive either. It was a 20 mile each way trip to the city. The previous version had too many trouble areas along the long trip to count. I live in a small town, so I have to drive out of my town, through the country, get on the freeway, drive into the city, get off the freeway and get to the destination. The thing that really blew me away was arriving back at home. My driveway is essentially on a cul-de-sac, but the street turns to the right. My house is on the left side of the street when entering from the main street. I was super anxious to see what it was going to do. Would it pull a u turn and park at the curb? Would it park across the street as it has almost done before? Maybe it would actually pull into the driveway? Our charger is set up so that we back into the driveway, but I was prepared to let it try to do whatever it wanted. I engaged 13.2.1 in a left turn lane that was going to the freeway and it decided to then turn right from that lane and take backroads to the highway for 15 miles 😂
1:44 FSD incorrectly turns into the center turn lane (two-way left-turn lane). 1:53 FSD corrects itself by changing lane to merge traffic. The legality of using the center lane to merge varies by state. In some states like Texas or Michigan, It is illegal to use the center turn lane (also known as a two-way left-turn lane or TWLTL) for merging
That first surprising left turn actually had a blue line going to the left on your screen and then it changed to a blue line to the right just as you got to that large five lane. I wonder whether right before this you had originally had it turning left and then changed the route to turning right and it got confused?
Do you have the issue where when you go from, say, a 35mph zone to a 25mph zone the car resets it's speed to 55mph and starts accelerating? This has been going on for 3 updates for me. Car ignores the autopilot settings (10% offset) and does whatever it wants. Haven't tested 13.2.2 yet, as it's still downloading, but I'm not optimistic.
I just got 13.2.2 last night. One of the impressive things that happened today was during a drive around a shopping center the truck slowed considerably for speed bumps. However the stop sign had been flattened by someone and was no longer visible to my CT.

Way safer to have FSD back up instead of doing it myself. Especially if a large vehicle parks beside you limits what you can see looking back.

And 13.2.2 does a few weird things, but is the smoothest version yet. It still wants to go way too fast in some speed zones, and makes a terrifying maneuver on one particular roundabout. But I am very comfortable using it to drive around town and deal with heavy traffic. Well done Tesla in making such big improvements.
The thing about making a left when it should go right is turning into something that happens some consistently and that is not following the GPS under certain circumstances. I have not found the specific scenario that makes it do that but at the end of the day you get to your destination, just not necessarily the route that you would take to get there.
