@@wasabi5338 yeah but foreigners (not ex-USSR) are not interested in sambo that much, maybe bjj. What's the point of taking Kudo all around the globe if like 10-15 people will attend? People are dumb and are not interested/not willing to find out about stuff other than bjj and mma

@kupfer2000 В Обнинске, летом 2010, сдавали на чёрные пояса чуть ли не вся центральная Россия и западная Сибирь, и даже возможно восточная. В Обнинске тренировочная база Федерации Кудо РФ. Скоро выложу аттестацию Дениса Синютина на 4ый дан, что лично Адзума принимал перед кубком мира.
Нихрена себе тест! После такого теста в ящик сыграть можно...

Does anyone know the tournament history for Sensei Maksim?? Has he competed in the Kudo world tournament and if so what is his placing?

Regarding the comments below, in actual fact the fighters are being respectful and Kudo rules stipulate only that much needs to be done. It is not like okinawan karate or older karate styles that require complete hip bows. Kudo does not require that. I'm a shodan in Kudo Myself so I know about it :)

the helmet allows them to fight like that,without it wouldnt be safe but yep id love to try it ,the mixture of judo and kickboxing looks fun,mma in a gi.
Actually is kyokushin karate (bad executed) mixed with Japanese jujitsu, remember all judo techniques came from Japanese jujitsu.
А в чем суть кудо забрала на голове тут если забрала убрать каждый второй удар может быть накаутирующем вы же не видите сколько ударов в шлем проходит!

you are a little bit right.. but in my opinion the etiquetes are a little quidline.. offcorse you have to respect eachother thats the biggest point of it.. and in this movie i see they have respect for eachoter.. i am doing shotokan karate and we have to bow and so... in my opinion thats more cultural. you just have to listen to your trainer with all respect and so... you know what i mean :P everybody has his own way of the kudo fight cultur

It is a great style - for a sport - better than UFC in my opinion. But in the grading, they shouldn't make the students 'fight' like it's a competition. Gradings should be about 'death blows' delivered in controled situations. Just my opinion of course but too much emphasis is placed on what works in the ring over what works in the street.
