Yeah its real nice to have something other than just the price trend to base your trade on. The point of storing your own data instead of paying for historical data I suppose is what is part of what make a fund worth something. Data is freaking expensive. Great interview thanks
Data is literally free and publicly available. You can store your own data from your own brokerage. Some brokerages even give you tick data and DOM for free

Yes, a very good book, but i found something annoying, on page 94, rule-based portfolio construction models, he lists 4, but describes just 3, and leaves out the most interesting one, the decision-tree weighting
