This is why alot of people say skrillex has ruined dubstep they are more of a DnB or glitch hop but if they are ever on this channel (which I hope not) they would be under electo because they can be classified as mutiple types but he just calls it dubstep because that sounds cooler. Dubstep originally came from someone combining the Dub genre and 2 step garage, they originally stayed with the chill feel of dub, what you hear now is the new age dubstep but if you really want to show someone what dubstep really is, this is the closest of today's stuff you'll be able to give them to truly understand what dubstep really is.
