The section of the railway from Belgrade to the border will be finished this year. The Hungarian section will be finished in 2026. Great ready for the trip my dear :)
China is one of Australia's biggest investors and we never really respected them. I'm glad to see how welcomed the Serbians make the Chinese feel.

My good friend from Novi Sad, Serbia lives and work in KL for 5 years. Malaysia is interesting destination but it's not visa free for Serbia.

Yep, good video. Two directions to keep in mind for tourism:
1) Building up and promoting the good relationship, so people will feel more comfortable going to a friendly place as traveling to a foreign place is by itself uncomfortable.
2) Practicality, so people can afford to go to the place and not have to spend all of their energy on just getting there and figuring things out, and can instead spend it on enjoying and exploring.
Great to hear that the flights were all booked, and that there is more flights about to open, to make things more practical.
And also nice to hear of those tourists that they picked Serbia because of its good relations with China. I always purchase Chinese goods over some other less friendly countries' goods when the choice comes to that, like when purchasing a laptop.
There are 2 direct flights, from Beijing and Tianjin, but there are also 4 from China to Hungary, so you could do both with flights from Budapest to/from Belgrade
There are no too many direct flights between Budapest and Belgrade. I think driving is easier. It takes about 3 hours. But I haven't done the driving myself in my last two visits to Belgrade. Planning to go to Belgrade again in this June.

@@angusyoung1448 As only from Bejing could you do 3 leg journey but from Chongqing, Ningbo, and Shanghai a round trip Budapest-Belgrade is needed, as you are at the airport for your connecting flight anyway, the airport hassle is not added. Or a 4-leg journey is also possible

As I wrote on another channel. Belgrade, my No 1 favourite City when it comes to social life, food, people, feeling safe and cozy. Nothing even comes close. And I don´t care what some Serbs who are participating in Serbian national complaining games says. Yes, maybe Belgrade is not perfect, BUT is easy outshines western Capital Cities, which today more or less are like some third world chaos. It´s not for nothing that foreigners from different countries are moving to Belgrade and suddenly feel like they woke up from a coma. And that China helps Serbia is just the right way to go. If USA helped Serbia they would look something like Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia, USA. I don´t believe in USA:s "help". It always comes with a high price.
If US simply didn't work against Serbia and Serbs, then Serbia would be much better. U.S. was involved in the attacks and ethnic cleansing of Serbs. US MPRI was involved in training the Croats and helping them cleanse 250,000 Croatian Serbs in August 1995. U.S. presided over the Albanians systematic ethnic cleansing and terror of Kosovo Serbs (and Roma/gypsies, Montenegrins, Gorani (Slavic Muslims in the south of Kosovo), and others - even the small community of Kosovo Croats).
As a Chinese, we always want to travel to EU, however we want to go to friendly EU countries, so many EU citizens are brainwashed by the mainstream media to dislike Chinese people. We always just simply want the EU citizens can remain neutral towards us.

Not all westerners are like that. I am a Serbian, who's been living in China for the past few years, and I very much love China and Chinese people. I even speak Chinese, although I speak a few languages fluently. All Chinese people who live in Serbia have such a great life. They don't wanna go back to China. Serbia has so beautiful nature, old and rich culture.

They cant, they are not a country anymore because they have open borders with other EU countries. The decisions are taken at EU level. So border sovereignety lies with EU and not Humgary. Sorry for them because they would certainly welcome Chinese🙏.

I've been to Belgrade early 2021 during the pandemic. I've met a very lively and joyful Chinese girl from Shenzhen in my hostel. After Belgrade she flew to Rio de Janeiro.
To be honest, very few countries in the world that are not hostages to USA, which exert it power to not have business tie with China, even many Asian countries.
For a land lock country, Serbia should seize opportunity to have Tourist from China. Serbia should think of ways ro make city more exciting like cultural, food, scenery in Serbia to draw tourist. This is a big economic help to Serbia to provide locals with hospitality industry. ❤

There is a genuine love for China among Serbian people - I dont know if Chinese people know about this? Some of it probably due to historically good relationship between the countries, others could say that we share similar values - especially when it comes to family. My mother doesn’t like to travel, and the only country she wants to travel to is Serbia.
We used to have many Chinese tourist come to Australia, but a lot less now.
Visa is not required for Chinese passports in Albania, Bosnia&Herzegovina and Belarus as well, so Serbia isn't the only country who do not require visa for Chinese travellers.
It would be helpful if the host can provide a brief introduction of Serbia's GDP, population, major products etc.

I don't know much about its economy except that Serbia is a top exporter of raspberries and some other fruits.

If you still continue to choose to travel to those unfriendly countries especially the US, then you are asking for trouble. Go to Serbia, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Slovenia, Greece, France (but take care though), Spain and most Balkan countries. Avoid Albania!
