Related to that when it happens to play with a professional teacher I always say "Push me: don't kill me, but if you caught me assuming about where the ball will go next totally kill me to remember me I don't know s**t about padel".
I have Q: when defending behind the line.. I learned that it is smart to let the ball bounce on the glass.. my problem is: the ball bounce fast and escape me.. should i move a step forward before they hit the ball ? .. i know you talked about volley blocking from behind but i want to master the glass first
It depends is it a volley or an overhead. Defending an overhead you should anticipate by stepping forward after a lob to be ready for the rebound. But yes, if your opponents hit fast, you should mentalize always that the ball will take you forward. However, remember to move sideways instead of the Billy Elliot jump
